Seems way backwards. Be careful how many of those you do, or at least do them in close duration to each other.

This. One or two inquiries in succession won't hurt your credit, but more than that will raise some eyebrows in the eyes of lendors.

I noticed that about alot of there pricing they list a price with all rebates and not what every can qualify for. Thats prob the most irritating thing. How hard is it to list a price that any jo blow can get then put in text rebates for qualified personel

Exactly. So, I feel your pain. Even moreso because I lose business over it! :mad2:

I just bought my s550 and went in there, test drove it, traded my car and did all the paper work and was done in about 3 hours from the time I arrived, you have to be willing to take the time to go in and do the deal Imo to get a good deal or otd price

Did you get a price 4 ground more than the listed price they listed one for 36k and otd price 40k something is wrong there. I plan on going in i just have to wash the car its filfthy from snow, and dirty, plus i have to take the front bumper off so i can take off the breather can. I dont think they would want that.lol

Some people have financing already and want a hard number to give to their bank. They dont need you fucking face time. If you cant give me a price without me coming into the dealership than you can go fuck yourself. Tru Car, USAA, and some credit unions can get you a price without ever talking to the stealership.

Yes but in his case he has a trade in, so that play a major role in the deal. I have financing thru my credit union but still took the ford financing because they give you more rebates and and you can refinance the next day.

that dealer is tacking on alot of add ons. I know the dealership i was at wanted to add on tint and wheel locks for 300 and i told him that wasnt happening

How does a trade in play a role to a out the door price? Am i missing something? I figured i get a hard price then subtract what the value would be easy enough?

Because buying a car is not like a pair of pants! That is why.

This is also why so many lots/dealerships are not liking Elon Musk. He is trying to do to the industry what you want. Here is the price. Pay or move on.

The problem with that is no one is loyal. If everyone has the same price, what makes them different?

And do not start with the "Buying experience" or "Service" BAH! 80% of every purchase never goes back to the same lot again.

So many items have been nickle and dimed to death that I would rather leave the auto industry alone.

Let the market bear what it will.
