Well my next major mod will probably be to upgrade my transmission to a 4r70w so I can actually enjoy my car without the fear of blowing up my 5r55s! I have a one year old fully built Level 10 tranny and billet convertor "rated" to 1000hp but we all know better than that! Had I known then (when I bought it) what I know now I never would have invested the money, since it would have been only about $1,000 more for a good 4r70w. Anyway I've started doing some research on 4r70w's and learned a lot so far, one thing I need to figure out though is lock up vs non-lock up. Which is better and why? I understand lock up is more rugged, but lock up may put a little more power to the ground? Either way will be manual valve body with trans brake.
