Finally got back under the car and finished the Kook LT and OR H. The car also has FR500S mufflers. This thing has some real snarl to it now. No drone at all, but WOT produces a real good sound. I have to say most aftermarket parts I have seen over the years (I'm 55) suck when it comes to fit. These Kooks parts are absolute perfection. They aren't cheap, but that's because they aren't cheap. The custom BAMA tune seems good too. :driver:

Finally got the strut/shock and spring change done. You can see the difference between this pic and my sig pic. Old was stock shocks/struts with Ground Force springs, which is never heard of before but actually ride and handled very similar to eibach pro but a little more drop to them. New is 05-09 koni yellow struts and shocks (set to 1.5 front and 1 turn rear from soft based on what I read on here), GT500 mounts, eibach sportlines for the drop. Very happy with the stance and the handling with this combo is phenomenal (for daily driving like I do). Very very happy I made the change.

Sorry for the wet/dirtiness it's kind of nasty here today.

^ A true Mustang owner, he parks way out in the boonies between the grass island and the cart corral so nobody can door ding him.

Thanks y'all!

On a side note, how many exhaust have you guys gone through before settling?

I thought my pypes mid muffler with bombs was the one (o/r x-pipes) but recently did a 8hr round trip and the drone came back! It's ridiculous doing about 80mph on a wide range from 1800~2500rpm. Any higher rpm the speed climbs up too much.

My head and ears were ringing....this gotta be like my 6th setup

4 lol. The one I stuck with and I love is OR/H, M-80 Mids and 2010 gt500's. No drone at all.

I went through 3, ended with pypes off road h and 2012 gt500 modded to fit 05-09, by far my fav exhaust for a 3v

3V: fr500s, borla stingers, borla stingers with LT's and chatted x, then corsas with LT's and catted x. That last one was my favorite next to stock mid with fr500s.

My 5.4 setup: '13 gt500 mid with '12 gt500 mufflers, o/r h with borla touring, and about to go to '13 gt500 mid with slp deletes.

Gt500: bought corsa mufflers and it's perfect lol
