Downloaded the initial turbo tune from MPT, and data logged it. They were very clear that this tune was not to be driven on and only for static data logging in the driveway (idle and various rpm's from 1,000 moving in 500 increments to 3,500). Much more confidence in MPT than in the tune from BBR that Hellion sent with the "100% ready to go kit"!
Very nice. I enjoy a picky tuner that wants to see what the car is doing on a log before it drives. Sounds like you got a straight shooter.

Received a Mike Rousch tune to try to get me past emissions testing. I won't be able to test it for a few days though.

Keep us updated. I need to pass emissions before I can register my car and the tune from Mike I've been driving on for a year won't pass emissions currently with the tune he sent me. I had requested that it be set up for emissions. I emailed him and I'm waiting on a reply from him.

125mph for those of us with 3.15 :burnout:
Sadly that will warrant a stop. And possibly an arrest. lol

They had "reasonable and prudent" back in the day. But then 20 more people died over the course of the year out of a million plus using the highway/interstate system here. That was the end of that.

There is another place in town with a dynojet I'm calling. He wants $100 for 3 pulls (for hp figures only) or $300 if I'm tuning.

I dont know who is tuning your car, But AED did mine and to do a "dyno" tune (remote tuning) added $250 to the cost. Your best bet is 3 pulls if AED as he might take a bit to reply with updates.

That is part of the issue with the dyno.

If you're being billed hourly I can't afford to let the car just sit there for very long while I wait for the email with a revision. If they run an errand or get caught up in something else and take hours to get back to me I'm f'd. The tuner needs to be at the other end of the line and waiting for your email until it's done.

This would be VMP in FL not AED.

I don't see why you need to go through all this with as few mods as you have. I just give my tuner (Mike Rousch) two data logs after a new tune. One, with just some normal driving around and the second with a good pull from 1st gear through 3rd gear up to about 100 mph at WOT. He tells me this is all he needs to see as long as I select all he asks for in the software...

A little closer now to swapping out the rear for this one narrowed 1" per side. Splashed on a few coats of satin black roll bar and chassis paint. Clearly not powder coat but it gets the job done.

Installed a SHR C/S lower grill piece on my new C/S bumper cover and an Ebay no drill front license plate mount. Also swapped the Whipple supplied air filter for a pretty blue Amsoil filter:

The most involved was the filter swap. Had to completely remove the "heat shield" & MAF tube assembly. Go figure.
