So sexy. What motor is going in this thing?

Loving the classics guys. I'll throw mine in just for giggles.

It's my pop's newest addition to his collection. 1970 Boss 302 in Calypso Coral. 4-year restoration. All numbers matching. Fuggin car has 3 binders of documentation, including original invoices (3 page invoice from factory), all receipts for restoration, complete owner history, and the publications the car was in through its lifetime. This may sound nuts, but I can guarantee it is in better condition than Darren's car and it actually had a life outside of the garage.

Your Pop's wins this thread

I finally get to post my own S197 in this thread! Just picked this one up today. These are the seller's crappy pics, but you get the idea. I'll take some good shots ASAP.

This is my first forced-induction car and I am psyched!

Disclaimer: you aren't going to hurt my feelings if you hate the headlights/tail lights. I don't love them either, but the Agent47 mirrors (and booooooost) go a long way to redeem the ricey lighting.

You can find stock head lights and tail lights cheap on craigslist if you want to have quick replacements. Saw a set of stock tail lights around me for less than 40 bucks before.

Yeah I think that's the route I'm going to go. Only set locally at the moment is priced at $75. Seems a little rich.

That's not a terrible price, actually. Assuming they're in good shape and haven't been painted, plastidipped, or poorly tinted, I'd just jump on them. You may be waiting a while for cheaper ones to come up. Or just post in the WTB section with what you want and your budget. Good luck!

Check Frederick, MD Craigslist for the tail lights, saw a set on there yesterday.
