I would think even though starter is grounded to block , it would still need a ground wire/ strap on it. Does engine turn over at all when trying to crank it? Also you know that the clutch pedal switch can go bad, you can straight wire the pedal switch if needed till you can replace it. Mine went bad, but i never replaced it, I just make sure that my car is in neutral before I start my car have been this way for years now.

Yeah that's my next step.. I checked all grounds and am gong to trace wires and see if one got pinched or damaged some how. Checked all fuses and relays. Just going threw everything again.

cause you removed all the wires, it needs some wiring in there to run ;)

I just ordered my battery relocation kit so I can get that put in and good to go before I start my wire tuck. What distribution blocks did you guys use?

Those that have done this, I'm seriously considering it for my car but my motor is out right now, would you suggest waiting until the motor is back installed or can it be done with the engine bay empty? I'm mostly just planning to move the ECU and fusebox, looks like that would pretty much just require extending the headlight harness and separating the COP and injector wires on the PS?

I havent done it, but if the motor is out<possibly being built?> Id wait until you know it runs correctly after installing it back in the car.

Would be terrible to build engine, and wire-tuck, then find out it doesnt start/run correctly and then be torn if its a problem in the build, or problem in wiring.

I want to say it'd be easier to lay everything out while the engine is in the bay so you can cut/extend the wires the right distance...but it can be done!

The ECM and Fuse box can be done though while you got the heart out.

^^ Thanks, I ended up moving the ECU and fuse box this weekend, which is 95% of what I wanted to do anyway, If and when I do the under the intake stuff it will be after the motor is back in. After reading this thread 100 times I finally got up enough nerve to do it lol. Here's how it looks now, I know it's not perfect but it's a million times better than it was!
