Cleaned up some wiring and gauges...

Removed a couple of old Autometer Cobalt gauges and replaced them with the AEM wideband failsafe from the old car. Stuck the nGauge in the vent. Got rid of a bunch of old, disconnected wiring that was left in the car.

Looks good ^^^

Me? I walked by mine.
Heard the fiancee's Shelby as she went out to get her nails done.
Once again wished that my Coyote would sound like that 5.4
And to think, the only exhaust mods on that car are the GT500KR mufflers.
Eventually I'll own a Shelby

It's amazing how completely those KR cans transform the first gen Shelby's. I want to do more but don't want to lose their awesome sound.

I honestly wouldn't.
When we went with the TVS, the fiancee mentioned how much she likes the snap/gurgle/pop from the exhaust when letting off the gas or when downshifting.
The tuner did something in the tune, we're getting tons of that now.
After a cold start-up it's freakin insane how it sounds ... LOUD pops, almost sounds like a shotgun going off at the back of the car.
Abso-fucking-lutely love it!

Replaced the battery. The car started hard in the morning and figured it was just a small glitch. Then stopped for gas after 30 miles on the highway and it almost didn't start. Kept an eye on the ammeter gauge and it was showing 13.5 for the rest of my trip - stopped at O'Reilly's and battery was dead. 15 minutes to swap to a new battery and gauge showing 13.9-14.0.

Battery was a little over 4 years old, with 67,000 miles on it. I drive the car year round.

Limped it home 231 miles on a Sunday night after hitting something in the road crossing into Indiana from Illinois. No tire shops open anywhere at that time. Wouldn't make much of a difference. Pretty sure the rear wheel is shot as it is now bent.

Setting the cruise on a '13 GT in 6th gear at 52mph will net you some seriously sweet MPG's, however inside, the car was crying.

Sorry to hear it ... I thought I noticed some new wheels

Looks good

Cleaned up a lot of the wiring under the hood this weekend. We had hastily thrown a lot of looms all over the place in the scramble to get the car done. I finally found some time to extend some wires and re-route them so they're more out of the way. I'll throw some pictures up once the coil covers I had painted by JLT show up.

Aired up the drag radials on my '14 GT just in case I decide to drive it to work this week while the weather is nice. Backed it out of the garage, aired up, reparked it in my garage. Then took my '16 Scat Pack on a 3 hour drive through the foothills of the Cascade Mountains today just to get a feel for the suspension limits. Beautiful day (mid 70's & sunny), great drive, and our Seattle Seahawks won (had the game on the radio for the drive).

Got a snapshot of my coil covers before they got buffed. They should be here in a few days and I'm STOKED!

Thanks! I can't wait to see them on the car. I'm glad the guys at JLT were able to do a Vista Blue set for me instead making me settle for DIB.

Ordered new exhaust. I have a problem and American Muscle is my cure. It's OK though, it will all be OK.

That popping and crackling is addictive. I would find myself driving with the windows down and the radio off just to hear that as I downshifted or decelerated when coming to a stop. Really it is how these cars should sound.

Lol, we do that.
I'm getting some of that in mine, but nowhere near as much or as loud as in the Shelby.
Considering installing the cat-deletes, lol

I really miss my KRs. I should have kept them and tried them with a resonator on the Coyote, but they were just too loud without resonators. When I had my 3V, I didn't do anything to the exhaust other than KRs and didn't want to change a thing.

Well, I'd love to try other mufflers, but that will cost money.
I already have cat-deletes, they came with the JBA H-pipe I'm using, so trying them out would just be an afternoon of fighting with rusted bolts, lol

Added some filters to the LEDs in my 2010 GT500 steering wheel to change the light from teal to lime to match the rest of my 08's interior lights. Cheap solution for now but I'll probably get some matching LEDs and solder them on the board for a permanent solution.
