Flat out the best sounding for the best price for the 05-09 mustangs are the FRPP GTA mufflers.

GTA's have been out of production since 2010.. They've been since replaced by Ford Performance part # M-5230-GTB..

Boss227's are so insanely awesome, first I was afraid, I was petrified, kept thinking I could never live without one by my side.

I raced a Boss 227 once. Almost lost to it. If he would have been running the Legato mufflers, I would have heard it, then saw it, then lost to it.

GTA's have been out of production since 2010.. They've been since replaced by Ford Performance part # M-5230-GTB..

They are still readily available on auction sites, Craigslist, forums and some vendors carry old stock. No excuse. I bought a second pair a couple of months ago from another forum dirt cheap.

Yeah, they put a TON of engineering into billet interior pieces and re-labeled products.

Your experiences and mine w/Steeda obviously differ.

They didn't turn the car into a Boss 227 (nothing could, the Boss227 package is that awesome!), but they work, and I have no problems with them.

Yes, I know the springs aren't made by Steeda, they use good-quality suppliers though, and before I bought them, I made sure they weren't re-badged Eibach crap.

I had Eibach springs on my '07 Charger and after 3 years and about 40k miles, 3 of the springs were broken, one of which (the right front) broke going slowly over a speed bump.
I will never again own an Eibach product.

Oh, and Legato's are loud.

I have never owned a Steeda product, or a Boss 227 for that matter, so I cannot add much to the conversation. Currently only have had one Roush product as well, and the quality is pretty good so far. Had Eibach Sportlines on an Eclipse years ago, and they were fine but the ride was pretty damn stiff. That is what she said, about the Boss 227, and the springs.

I had Eibach's on the Vorshlag kit. Didn't have problems with them. They were a little bouncy at times, but on the track were awesome. They were Pro springs though, not the Sportlines (which practically "slam" a ride).

I have the steeda HD Strut mounts on my 05 and they have been great. I have also used their springs and they have been fine too. We are not talking UPR here.

Steeda doesn't make springs. They're manufactured by Eibach or H&R. See what I mean?

No they have springs made to specs that they specify. Most companies do. Nothing at all wrong with H&R or several other brands that steeda does business with.

Yes, I mentioned that already, and I know it, and knew it when I ordered them.
I did some research before I bought my springs, and I remember it definitely wasn't Eibach that made their springs, but I know for sure that the "Steeda" coilover rear springs I recently installed in my car, with Steeda's adjustable perches, are made by Hypercoils, which is in Pontotoc, Mississippi and they're owned by MW Industries which is in Illinois.
It may be Hypercoils that makes all their springs, it would only make sense to just have one supplier.

My point is that Steeda does very little actual product development. People talk about them like they're another Roush, and they're not. Roush spends thousands of dollars doing actual engineering. Steeda makes deals with other companies to put their name onto other people's stuff.

Gabe ! Were your Eibach springs sportlines or pro kit ? If yours were sportlines, you more than likely ended up getting a defective set..

I know that Eibach does offer a full lifetime warranty on all their spring kits.. However I also realize that it can be a real PITA waiting around for a replacement while determining what caused them to fail.. So in the meantime, your stuck without a car for possibly weeks or perhaps even months.. Anyhow I can totally understand just how frustrating it is when asking yourself what good is having a warranty if you don't know long your going to have to wait before being able to use your car again..

All I can say, is I've had the same Eibach pro springs on my car for 10 years now and I haven't run across any negative issues with them at all..

I'm sure that your spot on about other companies that manufacturer Steeda exhaust and spring components.. However when it comes to CAI, HD mounts, LCA's and their underdrive pulley's, IIRC Steeda does the actual engineering and design for those components to OEM specs that also include an ISO certification number..

So once again, It just doesn't make much sense as to why Steeda would offer a full lifetime warranty on somebody else's product in which Steeda had no involvement whatsoever in neither the design nor engineering process..
