2010 is FUGLY!!!

Well, stopped and looked at the 2010. What an ugly muther f'er......the interior was nice, except the new rectangle vents in the center look like shit. The rest of the interior was very nice! The front was ok, I like the slant to the headlights like the gt500, but that ass on the car is hideous!!

im 50/50 on the 2010's.....to much going on in the inside for me. i wont ever use half the crap they put in it. i wish they would do away with some of it and put a "little" bit bigger engine in it!

I said I didn't like the rear in pics, but would wait for the autoshow to see in person.. hated it. Now I keep seeing them as rentals in my work lot, so I start my morning asking myself how Ford could let it go to production.

Headlights are good, front looks better with the black billet grill. Still unsure on the lower fascia, don't like the mutton chop winglets. I do like the dome of the hood.

Interior, I liked the steering wheel, center stack was "meh" to me. Combining round and rectangle vents was dumb.

I like them. The rear isn't that bad. Yes I prefer the 05-09 style rear end, but everyone has a vendetta against them that isn't justified. The wheels, for instance, are far better. I'd like to get a set of those 19s. I like that they gave the hood more character and aggressiveness.

And if they come with 400hp for 2011.........wow

It's growing on me, especially since I'm looking for a new DD. Part of me wants to wait for the 2010 Taurus to go on sale, and consider the SHO, but I could easily add yet another Mustang to the stable. The only problem is that I couldn't keep myself from modding the Mustang, as I'd pretty much leave a sedan alone...

I feel ford did a great job with the interior, no question. In my opinion the "old" s197 has cleaner lines, and its front end looks angrier then the new one. The new front end looks more as if it concerned about some thing that has troubled the car. My guess is its severe case of Hemorrhoids.



In the end it will be the same as the sn95 vs. new edge war. I personally like the 95-98 sn95 cars better, with the exception of the 03-04 cobras. I feel the same way now, I prefer the "old" s197 over the new car, but I do like the new 2010 GT500.

See, to me, the "old" S197 has that looks like someone just asked it how to spell Achmed and his response was "WHAT!?!". But a GT500 front fascia looks awesome on the "old" style and solves that shocked look.

I'm thinking a wider rim/tire, a little lowering, a little tweaking to the rear fascia(Saleen, Roush, somebody!?!), and an antenna delete will do the 2010 a world of good.

I think Roush has...but I try to look as little as possible, The Fox is a lot cheaper than a S197!
