Here is our porch. Much bigger than I thought it would be which is nice! Going to be screened in. That is the door way into the bathroom and the sliding door is just peeking on the edge of the picture.

There's my mancave/office/gaming room with the arrow, and then the big closet and the master bath. Only have 2 walls to go up now. One roughly where the red line is which will separate the dining room and kitchen and then the wall for the pantry which will separate the dining room and pantry.

This is all that's left for the inside walls

For the walls made of cinder block, do they put in studs still so you can run electric and water? Can't really tell from the pics

Yeah, it's normally 3/4" faring strips but on our house they are doing 2 of them together for better insulating outer walls.

Are any of the interior walls load bearing? The construction technique is interesting to me. Seeing as we build differently up North.

????? Never heard of something like this before. What pests and how do you control them?
It's a new system and was part of a summer deal our builder had going on. It is run through the while house internally and all connects to a service port outside. Pest control never has to enter into your house. They just walk up to the service port and connect up to it and spray into it and it travels throughout the house and stays away from the kids and gets to work from the inside vs outside in of the walls. Then they will spray outside of the house as well. We have lots of bugs here in Florida lol. Hot and humid and they like houses. But termites to ants to roaches and anything else you can think of.

Here's the link to see it.

We have drywall now. Inspections this week and then the seams and mudding of it all and FPL have got the request to do their part and get power to the house! Stucco is also going on this week!

All we will need after this week is floors, cabinets, and trim I believe. Still need the AC units installed and toiledts.

Will get pictures posted soon.
