No, we are learning something valuable! I just learnned something this morning 50 is taller then the 35 or 30. I know there's a reason why everyone has a diameter (height) range that's idea for our cars. Gears, rim and tire play a roll but maybe thats just more for performance and not a truck tire look. This morning just added a missing puzzle piece for me. With lifting my truck and putting 35's or 315's it never mattered.

Taller side walls equals better ride quality in my opinion.

I agree that taller sidewall is better ride, but that lower profile looks much better, especially on a 20" wheel. Anything over 35 on a 20" imo looks too big. 18" wheel is different, I prefer the 40 sidewall.

I currently run 275/35/20 on 20x9.5" Roush Wheels on all 4 corners believe they are a 45 offset though.......

My car is 2010 Roush. It has the Roush 20x9.5" wheels (chrome), with 45mm offset. The wheels had the stock 8-year old Cooper tires and the car rode like a tank, plus had limited traction.

I did a lot of searching and investigating for new tires and eventually settled on a set of staggered tires, using Falken FK510: 285/35R20 in rear and 255/40R20 in front. These tires are virtually identical in OD. Copy of receipt below.

My comments on these Falken tires:
1) they fit perfectly
2) they look good
3) the ride is wonderfully comfortable, yet firm
4) traction (and safety) is greatly improved

I have those on 20x10's with a 40 mm offset. They sit just about perfect, you'll like them.

I've had em for about a month now and don't have em on the car yet... had too much other stuff going on and considering trying to get one more track day out of the current MT's, but they are fairly worn around the edges, only have about a week to decide...

What is the width and offset of your wheels?
They kinda look like they might only be 8.5" wide, which won't fit a 275 tire very well - you'll get sidewall bulge and possibly tire rub.

A 275 tire fits best on 9.5-10"-wide wheels
