The crank snout has one key way to hold the damper from turning on the snout. On some high boost setups, they recommend two key ways to make sure it doesn't brake the single key. The damper needs to have the second key way.What exactly does double keying do?
The 07-12 GT-500's came with a 3.73 rear end. The 13/14 GT-500's came with a 3.31
Story I got was the 13/14 GT-500's, to avoid the gas guzzler tax, went to the 3.31 rear gear.
The Roush cars used a 3.73 rear gear, and the... (aprx $1K) gas guzzler tax was implemented.

.Factory '07-'14 GT500 rear axle ratio was 3.31 except the '08-'09 GT500KR and the Performance Pack which had the 3.73's and I think that package was only available on '11-'14 models.
