Hi wondering if my 14 gt tpms sensors will work in 07 mustang wheels since they use banded sensors? Thanks in advance!

Was just wondering if the sensors out of a 14 would go into and work with 07 wheels. Have a 14 gt looking at possibly getting some what seller says are 07 wheels.

I assume your car is a 14GT, per your avatar. Banded 14 sensors should work on 07 wheels. The 14 sensors are on the same freq as the tpms setup in your 2014 GT.

Hmm, solid point. I certainly didn’t read the OP like that. But u could be spot on with the added info.

No reasons the ten 14 sensors wouldn’t work either in the wheel as designed.

I see I have to be very specific with what I mean and say in post. I have an 14 gt looking at possibly getting wheels from what seller says are 07 wheels. I'm wondering if my tpms sensors from my 14 will go into and work on/with the 07 wheels?

Should be if the 14 are valve TPMS

I am running newer Valve TpMs vs band tpms on my 2007 Gt with Gt500 wheels

The '10+ sensors are built into the valve stem.
They will work in pre-'10 wheels since they install in the standard valve stem hole.

I know but didn't know if the pre 10 wheels were different since they used band style sensors then.

No difference from that perspective.
What diameter are the wheels? This may be an issue based on the brakes you are currently running on your GT and or plan to run one day if you upgrade.

^^ The above is incorrect ^^

All of the Mustang TPMS systems operate on the 315mhz band, the code on the band is where the systems are different.

2005 to 2009 use a unique code
2010 to 2014 use a unique code
2015 to 2019+ use a unique code

Yes, the sensors from your '14 GT will fit into the '07 wheels and continue to work on your '14 GT. While it's not a necessity, you should perform the relearn just like if you rotated your wheels so the computer picks up on their location.

Those are most definitely not stock '07 GT/CS wheels. The stock wheels would be Bullitt-style
