Yep - the airbrushing got knocked out and Greg got the wiring in order so there is officially nothing left to do but start bolting everything back on now. The only fab work left is the mounting tabs for the manual rack and the tranny cross member but Greg will knock that out when everything is bolted back in and ready to go.

I will have my car back very soon... I'm secretly glad no one bought the car - it's way more bad ass than I was expecting. If this thing runs what I hope it will, then I wouldn't give it up for 100 grand! I think some records are in danger...lol

I will be at Irwindale testing on the 11th and racing in Vegas on the 19th...

I am so excited about the results. The Chevykiller has always been a 'show car' as well, but this final build is really going to take the cake. I don't think Greg and I have left a single detailed untouched.

Simple things make all the difference in the world and the finishing on this build is quite frankly remarkable and my hats off to Greg and the RET team...:beerchug2:

We've left no detail unchecked... here is a shot of Greg working today on a nice little touch - In addition to upgrading my COP wires to 14 gauge, he is extending the injector and COP plugs so I can run the harness on the valley of the block to hide the harness. The million wires showing has always been an eyesore to me on these motors and I'm shooting to make this engine bay as clean as possible...

Head up bitch.

I will make it a point to be at Irwindale on the 11th if you go. Also, I will be making the Vegas race as long as its not 1100 degrees out in the desert over there.

Can't wait to see it run, should be pretty awesome.

I'll be in Vegas on the 19th. I'm going to try and find my way to the track so I can see your car go.

I'll be there on the 11th Paul but pretty much only going to be doing launches. I'll be on the dyno next weekend. Everything is pretty much done - just putting it back together now. Vegas is going to be AWESOME so I hope you go. It won't be too hot - it is a NIGHT RACE on Friday and Saturday only (no TNT this time)

Why are you running an overdrive pulley?

Since its sfi approved might as well use it rather then buy another one. Mark your lucky the dealer had that crossover in stock, your old one went with the Whipple. Also your old alt had a 8 rib pulley wich is gone. Greg had a 05 alt at the shop so thats the one on there now. The crossover gaskets, and head temp sensor should be in today, but Greg watches his kids today.
