hmm, maybe i can run a Holestar Front Runner and a Jegs Rear, so i know for sure i have no clearance problems.

yo Dex, you using the 3/8 spacer for the jegs up front?? I'm assuming if you used a 1/2 spacer up front for the jegs you wouldn't have to grind at all.

My rears are 15x10 Bogarts. Those fit just fine

3/8 spacer on the front. Not sure if the 1/2 spacer will solve your problem. The wheel hit the top and bottom of the caliper in the middle. Close to where you see the dimples in the caliper

oohhh nevermind.. u went jegs up front, bogarts out back. nice nice.

I didn't order any wheels yet, just being prepared what I need order so I can get as close to perfect as possible lol :p the only thing i'd worry about is are the studs long enough w/ 1/2 spacer? i guess so.

Any issues with using that spacer/adapter in the front? I couldn't imagine getting the lugs on the spacer tight enough to feel save using them.

Another successful fit of the Summit 541's ( SUM-541-5866PS ), on the back of my 2005 V6.
No spacers needed, no grinding. Although, the calipers are close and could be potentially too close with new brake pads, as new pads would push the outside of the caliper farther out.

Now off to get some lugnuts that will fit better than the stock ones, and get the slicks mounted.

isn't this forum for asking questions and getting answers before going and trying sh1t that doesn't work and wastes your time and money? Ok sure, sometimes the same questions get asked over and over, but often, the answers are not easy to find. Sometimes people don't respond and ignore what you are asking. How can you find out what you need know that way? How else but keep asking, or go somewhere else.

Peace.

Yea most times the guys on here that know the most will often write a paragraph on how to use the search engine rather than solve your problem/question with 2 words. I can imagine that it may be annoying for them but people including myself wouldn't ask repeat questions if they didn't need help asap or specific answers for their exact thoughts. I figure it's all about helping each other out because we all need it at some point or another.

But I get ticked off too sometimes when people dont try to look up stuff and ask the same question that was asked a day or two ago. If you try searching and can't find the answer, then that's one thing. But if you're too lazy to read the thread or look further down on the same page, then that's different.

On the other hand, put yourself in the place of being a new user; if you do a post or two and get hammered for it, you're not likely going to come back or stay. So I try to have a little more patience for newbies, but still recommend using the search at times.

...back to the current topic... pics of my rear Summits+slicks mounted on the car coming soon! I'm so ready to run them at the track! It'll be interesting, trying difference d-spec settings with the slicks vs. previous drag radials.
