Will such cams as shown in the video work with FI engines?

If so, how about with an automatic transmission?

Man oh man I do like the way that booger sounds at idle!

It doesn't matter if it is FI and Carb. It also doesn't matter if you have an auto or stick. The cams from BBR are OE cams that are re-tuned to give the performance effects. Most of the time that means it's a direct bolt-in application.

On the other side of the coin, BBR recommends using a 2,700 RPM Stall Converter and you should put 3.73:1 gears in an auto. 4.10:1 are recommended, but might be too low for a daily driver. The car wold be quick as sin in the 1/8 though. You might need to change your valve springs too.

Then there is the tune. Make sure you have someone lined up to tune it once the ork is done. You'll need it.

I already have the 3.73s and HPP in Lewisville TX would be the one I would choose to install the cams and tune it.

They installed my Saleen SC and did the tunes too.

Just curious, what is the stall on the stock converter?

The sound is primarily what I am after, but a bit more power is always nice. Would that cam work ok with my stock converter? I just don't like the "slip" of a high stall converter.

I am not sure what the stock Stall is. Common is 1,500 to 1,700. one of the other guys might know for sure. BBR is recommending the 2,700 to help avoid load-down or stalling at the lower revs.

stock stall on 5R55S is about 2400 RPM.
You can only hold it with the brakes to 2000 RPM though.

I always through with the huge duration lope of the BBR cams you would wash away some of the boost so to speak? Thats why I would recommend Blower cams, even though Im not sure of a company that sells them for the new stangs.

What do you mean huge duration? They are only about 290*. They're closed almost 21% of the time... hahahahaha
