Okay I am bringing this back up AGAIN!!!

My brain hurts and it seems everyone has a different plan.

I will be installed a Supershaker...

Can I run two breather cans? 1 on driver side, and 1 on passenger side.

If so; how will I route the hoses? Do I need to cap anything off. Basically please explain everything I would need to do please.

Make it easy on yourself. Just use two push on breather filters and cap off the intake. No emptying oil and the engine doesn't suck in hot air.

Yes you can . That is how mine are . You just cap off the intake where you remove the hose from. Then run the lines from the valve covers to the cans . Another option is to run them to a tee and then to one can .

I think I like the symmetry of running two cans rather than a T. Do you happen know if any of the Moroso cans have only 1 input? or do they all have 2? Their page is shitty and uninformative.

So the consencus is no oil separator, and either run one or two cans, or just a breather on each cam cover? Anyone notice much oil coming out of the breathers? I do get a teaspoon or so in my separator when I run hard.

When I had the 2 breathers on the valve covers the pass side got soaked fast . That is why I switched to the 2 breather cans instaed.

I want one with only 1 inlet. I plan on running two; one on each side. Has to be Moroso.

The Jaz can/breather has two. See my post #130. Excellent piece for $60. I have each side run to it via 3/8" hose.
Wish the breather wasnt chrome. Do you get much oil in the can? Where did you get it? Also, what hose did you use to connect to the valve covers? (size, type, etc,)

I see barely any oil in the can at all, with my setup. And what is in there, I wouldn't really consider "oil." It looks like beef stew broth.

I think I got it from Summit, maybe Jegs. I used normal 3/8" rubber fuel line to connect to the valve covers. You can't use heater hose, because it isn't designed for vacuum and will collapse. You need something reinforced. I think that's been discussed in this thread, too, somewhere.

On a N/A setup the breathers should be blowing a lot of oil through just push on breathers would they? The reason I ask is because all you guys saying that you have a lot of oil spray through breathers have F/I.

So the hose you used fit over the nipple on the valve cover, or did you attach it to the push-on fitting?

Your exactly right. I have had breathers on for over a year and not a drop of oil anywhere. My under hood looks cleaner, the less hoses the better.

Sweet. Then this is the next mod once I get the v8 in.

Off topic: but FYI for those of you thinking about a cam install. make sure your torque wrench is working:crazy:
