i got the jegs pro stars also, no grinding on the rears and a 3/8 spacer for the front. i run the cobra jet springs and have 27x10.5/15 hoosiers in the rear and have tons of clearance, i just dont make enough power for a 28 or i could fit them in if needed.

Jegs sells wheel and tire packages. I think it's just for the Chevy lug pattern but surely they could do the same deal for the Ford. I put the Jegs prostar look-a-likes on my car and I had to do some grinding but over all they fit great. I love the way they look on my car. Pics on the page before this. (Page 24)

I just got off the phone with Race Star Industries. They have a direct bolt on 15" street/strip rim available for our s197 Mustangs. Some of the sizes are available now and the 15x10's will be available the second or third week in October. These are one peice cast aluminum rims, the fronts weigh 10lbs. and the rears weigh 13lbs. This is for real and about time someone came through for us Mustang owners. They are very reasonable priced also. You do not need longer studs for the rears neither, these fit the stock studs.

Here is a link to their website.

Feel free to call them, they will put you on their list and call you when the rim size you want comes in, I am already on the list. They were very helpful with me and actually called me back right away too.

Any word on these yet ?

Mike from www.racestarindustries.com is in my ear right now telling me the 15" wheels are in stock ready to ship right now. He says he has 15x3.75 and 15x10 with 7.5 backspace in stock.

He also says he has plenty of the 15x8 with 5.5 BS. No mods necesary to install, not even swaybar relocation. Price quoted to me was $169 front, and $201 for the 15x10s. Also need a lugnut kit. Mike did however offer me an "early adopter" discount. Might be worth mentioning for people reading this.

Tell Mike a bunch of us would like to buy a set in a group buy. Have him become a vendor here and I bet he will sell 10 sets in a week.

maybe im a day late and a dollar short here, but did race star just buy out greg weld? And offset washers to mount? Is it seriously impossible for someone to make a NORMAL wheel that just fits?

With the offset washer deal they can make one set of wheels that fits 4 1/2", 4 3/4", and 5" bolt circles. Saves money and keeps the cost of these wheels down to a reasonable level.
