"able to tune" is not the question, just having the support to do so is, big difference there Fred. You personally would still be selling double dubs if it werent for your association with one of the top tuners in the nation and thats no secret, neither is the fact that you personally have little to no experience in tuning and rely/pay others to do that for you. Atleast in my small shop/business I do all the tuning myself and will do so on our 2011 GT.

I thought this was about JPC and Evo? Cause last I checked JPC had been using mail order tunes from Diablo til at least 2006 and having other people tune his own cars while he charged customers money to tune their cars himself. If you're going to attack them on tuning, attack both shops here.

Congrats to both JPC and EVO. And Tommy a spool on the street is not very user friendly it can be driven but isn't prefered by most for street duty. But as you said it is a wash tru trac or spool the car would still go tens. Way to go to both Justin and Fred.

It's not all that bad only when making real tight turns at slow speeds. I drove one for years on the street. I would rather have a tire dragging a little in a turn than breaking the diff at the track. :)

Lurker lol.

Your not correct in your statements one bit. Justin has never told or claimed to anyone that he was tuning the cars. Kevin from Diablosport is our only tuner when using Diablo and Jon Lund does SCT Tuning for us. So if your going to stir the pot you should have the correct facts Homey.

Also we've never attacked Evo so don't start in on me with that B.S. son.

even if both shops had contracted a tuner, and not saying they have,

whats it matter? if you have someone that is great at what they do, then have them do it.

no different than any other business out there

Exactly. Everyone we deal with knows Kevin is tuning. As well as Jon works with Evo.

The person doing all the attacking is JJ@WMS , he runs a small business out of his house and has no association with either shop, he likes to cling himself to a shop and run his mouth since he can't do it himself!

Real companies assemble a Staff of the Elite, They put the best of the best in each position. I have no interest in Tuning, why should I? The Best Ford Tuner in the world does all our tuning.

I focus on Sales/Marketing/Car Designing/Video Producer/Website Admin, which is what I am the very best at! Our other guy Kent is the very best at Customer Service, and Nelson, Chuck, and Chris are the very best at wrenching on cars, and fabing stuff up....

JJ maybe you should stop wasting your time running your mouth and focus your energy on your own business and not worry about everyone else!

Maybe take some time and freshen that website up of yours, you do know its 2010 right? Prodigy was cool back in 1988.....

Where are Videos of your new Mustang running at the Track? Let's see some passes.... the only thing we will see you do is run your mouth while riding on other shops accomplishments and kissing their ass!

There are NO issues between JPC and us, I respect Justin and Tommy very much, it's just friendly competition between Two very aggressive shops! It's actually really cool.... Maybe all this controversy will draw more fans to the stands at the NMRA Events...

The best way to describe the situation is that Two Brand New 2011 Mustang GT 5.0L's are laying it down right out of the gate!

How many Camaro or Challenger/Charger Shops did this crazy stuff when they first came out? Not very many!

The new Camaro guys are so pissed that the 2011 Mustang GT's are so fast, their heads are spinning!

It's a Great time to be a Ford Guy/Girl!

And then there were three. Talked to Richard earlier after the first pass. Custom exhaust and a 100 shot of nitrous. First ever pass on the car down the track and it went 10's.

Really? so because I run my business out of my home its less then a qualified business? Hell Fred I've got more lifts in my 4000sqft shop then you do in your dyno shop/ex gas station area. Oh and I'm not clinging onto JPC, I've known Justin for 5 years and consider him a friend and someone who has the same work ethics and passion that I do, he is just a hell of alot more competetive then me and I love him for it. :highfive:

Not worried about you Fred but when I have to spend countless hours answering questions as to why your advertised dyno numbers cant be reached on a Dynojet with your exact tune and you leave the customer swinging in the breeze I will take you to task about it. Changing the roller weight on your dyno to boost your numbers along with your disparaging comments towards me in PM's will get my blood up and you should expect such a response from me.

Maybe take some time and freshen that website up of yours, you do know its 2010 right? Prodigy was cool back in 1988.....

See, thats exactly what I'm talking about, a cheap shot that you take for what reason? So what if my website is old and needs updating? Its that way because I dont rely upon my website to do business. I'm also the only one that does anything with the website and I'm honestly too busy to worry about it, I do have better things to do like take care of the work I have here at the shop and my customers.

Where are Videos of your new Mustang running at the Track? Let's see some passes.... the only thing we will see you do is run your mouth while riding on other shops accomplishments and kissing their ass!

Since your so interested in what I'm doing with my 2011GT I will tell you that I picked it up a week ago and then left on Tuesday for Indiana for tuning. I had three days of tuning 12 vehicles and just got back today. The car is going to MIR Sunday weather permitting and thats not looking too good at the moment. Also I will not be doing the same things as you and JPC. You guys have pushed the limits and done a great job of showing what the platform can accomplish and I give you alot of credit for doing so but we will be taking a different approach and will be testing products to see if the advertised gains are for real or just hype. We will also be taking a "regular guys" approach to mods and racing the car. Eventually we plan on running the car in the 10's N/A and considering that I've tuned the only N/A S197 to run in the 10's N/A with an auto I think we can do that in a reasonable amount of time.

There are NO issues between JPC and us, I respect Justin and Tommy very much, it's just friendly competition between Two very aggressive shops! It's actually really cool.... Maybe all this controversy will draw more fans to the stands at the NMRA Events...

I'm hoping it will draw more people as well and I do appreciate what you guys have been doing. You getting all upset at little old me is flattering for sure Fred but dont take it personally, I just dont like some of the things you do and how you have disparaged me and my business.

Congrats to both shops. Just goes to show how fast the new stangs can go with little done to them .
I can understand Evo's approach to mod one thing at a time to see how much it effects the car , and thats what we as customers want to know , How will the cars performance change with each mod.
These are to very good shops and this whole " Who's 1st to the 10's ,9's" whatever is really silly to me .
Before the car even hit the street based on just factory HP ratings we all knew 10s is just a Nitrous bottle away , of course setting it up properly.
Tommy I agree with you on the spool , it is the better diff for hard launches it can be driven daily I use to do it for 2 years no problems , just slow down on tight turns . Is it more street car friendly no , but you can drive it thats all .
In the future I really wish that shops would just leave the damn interior alone . The car came with full interior , leave it in the car worry about the parts being installed for performance and setting the car up .

I can just picture this driving along and Oh wait I gotta race, pull over tell you buddy , girl friend , or wife just wait here Ill be back let me take the seats out and lets put in a Racing seat so I can run this guy , but wait for me Ill be right back.

I mean come on just leave the interiors alone , real world performance , we all know the lighter the car the faster it will go , but a street car is a street car , not a STRIPPED car.

Im curious to see how far you can push the stock motor with the nitrous .

I would love to see a Automatic with a 175 shot !
