There's also trunk mount tanks etc. If you had a supershaker, you may be able to squeeze a big GT500 tank that goes across the rad area. I think Lethal makes/sells em. Then just relocate your overflow to where your tank is now and your PS will fit just about anywhere

What tank are you guys using in the battery area? I was considering this myself but didn't know which tank would be best.

I guess using a GT500 IC tank in it's stock location or using a Moroso tank and sitting it off of the passengers shock tower doesn't count since everyone seems so quick to convince you to relocate your battery. So I won't bother to mention the multiple times this same thing has been asked and I have posted pictures.

Oh i've seen your pics of the GT500 tank, but I don't want to hack up my intake, though I haven't seen the Moroso tank on the other side.

Speaking from an engineering perspective, why would you ever want to add a larger tank in the engine compartment? Any tank that gives you the chance to ice it is a good thing, but one just for more volume, especially in the engine bay at whatever underhood temps are, is counterproductive because it will absorb more heat and put more load on the HE. If you want to add capacity and make it effective, get a bigger HE. Then it's expelling heat rather than absorbing it. Something in the trunk gives you the opportunity to loose some heat to ambient, but the downside is the extra capacity will take longer to cool down if you experience any heat soak. My opinion, for what it's worth.

While you're 100% correct from an engineering stand point. However I was trying to be forward thinking when I choose that tank. I'll be installing a much larger H/E with fans and the S/C inter-cooler. The other thing that you mention is the ability to pack the tank with ice which is also a huge benefit.

Silly question, but when you guys relocated the battery to the trunk, did you just run the (+) power thru the cabin?

Hawgman, did you have to modify anything in particular to use that Gt500 tank or the Moroso strut tower tank?

I ran a 0 gauge wire from the front of the car through the cabin to the trunk area.

I've included a couple of pictures of my setup for reference. The battery box was only partly done at this point. I'm not a fan of this box I choose so I'll be switching to this box. It's smooth on top and will allow my trunk mat to sit completely flat once I modify the box.

One of the biggest problems is every tank I find only shows on angle and you can't see the mounting hardware.
