if you dump it to atmosphere get it retuned. it will make more power.

does it actually need a re-tune or will it just make more power with one?
Also could you explain how that is to me? Is it just less turbulent exhaust flow?

See thats the thing i dont make max boost in 1st. I only see about 6psi winding out first. Every other gear will.

how is spool with that .96

That's part of the answer to the spool question, above. .96 is really too big for this app. It'll work but it's a bit oversized at this level, and there is a response penalty to pay for that.

Personally I'd keep a single street app at .81. It would still support 1000+ hp like that, and spool much better to boot. Having good response is part of the fun.

I always had .81 on my 9 sec street turbo 4.5L v6 Buick. .81 was really a bit large for it in a street app .81 would work even better on the 3v stang with the extra few cubes and better heads.

JMO and ME. YMMV.

Oh and PS, I have dealer status with Precision, in case you're interested in changing anything.

I like it though, makes first somewhat managable compared to 2nd and third lol
First is so quick anyways even at 6 psi, right now im going to focus on relearning how to time my shifts. And seems like above 5500 the tires start to break loose. Here shortly im going to throw my 555r dr's on and see how they fair.

Btw im not above .96. But good point it may also have a little to do with the gate pressure and sensitivty settings on the boost controller, gonna play with those some more.

You're gonna like that first hook you get after burning em up a little.
I did mine from a light after a quick turn in a parking lot. The force literally hurt. Granted I smoked alot of hookah before hand but still. It is something else, and with your built motor you'll feel exactly what I'm talking about on 12 psi :p

I'm not sure what all of your experiences are, but Justin at JPC told me the other day that dumping the wastegate wouldn't really affect performance. He said that they dumped it on one of the powerhouse 76mm kits and it didn't affect it by 1 hp. I was thinking about doing it when I get my powerhouse kit and blocking off the passage way to the downpipe. I really want to hear what it sounds like to have it dumped. Anyone have any videos?

Congrats man, and like someone said earlier you will get used to the power soon and want more, haha.

I would know, I'm in the same boat.
