Steeda CAI for the 2011 5.0L Mustang GT

with the standard base sct tune file this system helped us go from our stock rwhp rating of 371 up to a fantastic 388.
That's a 17 rwhp gain from this CAI and a box tune.

Chris is going to be spending some time over the weekend writing a bad ass BBR tune file for the Steeda CAI.
Per Chris, there is a lot more power to be had with this CAI. It's just going to take some play time to perfect it.

if you get one, you will love it. love the way you feel, knowing how bad ass your car is stock. look for trouble, cuz you can finally kick LS ass just on motor. love it cuz you START with more power than ls1,2,5. love it cuz after an ls1,2,5 adds all of the bolt ons, and cams, you can tune you 5.0, add long tubes, an exhaust, a CAI and they now need heads to match your power. love it cuz when YOU add heads/cams, you flow more than 400cfm. love it because your 5.0 is the new all motor king of LS1,2,5. and match hp for hp with a LS3. love it cuz when you add suspension bolt ons and a 150 shot you run mid 10s.

i absolutely LOVE mine. love everything about it. its about 200 crank hp less than my turbo 4v, but i never drive the Turbo anymore.

yes it does, it is a selling point on the steeda site.

If you look at Jarrod(LRS)'s pic of the intake, you can see that it does retain it. It's a pic of the intake w/o being mounted in the car.

What am I missing on this picture? The 5.0's sit lower in the car and have a straight STB. This picture shows the engine sitting so high, it's got a 2010 STB.
