you dont have to install the coil covers if you dont like them. to each his own as they say.

+1!!! My coil covers never made it out of the box and I found a sucker on fleabay to actually buy them. And if you are not in a hurry, just keep watching for deals as I have seen them recently on sale in the low $5K range for the base kit (which is what I am running... for now).

The Edelbrock is one of the nicest kits to install, looks great when installed, makes tons of low end power because of the TVS blower design and its got a ceiling of about 700 RWHP so its got plenty of potential! The air charge temperature on these blowers stay pretty cool too which is important on a supercharged car. I ran 9.69 @ 141 in a car I could drive on the street using this same charger. If not this then the Roush TVS and for the same reasons.

We have two packages for the Edelbrock kit that will get you 450 RWHP and 500 RWHP respectively if your interested in anything like that call us at our shop at 732-780-0770.

I've been running a e-force for a year now without a single issue, I installed it myself and got some help via pm's from doogie...Mine is #152

Would I buy another? Hell yes, I like the front intake and the long runner design. It runs great just tooling around town with a assload of torgue and when you get on it you can't get the smile off your face.....

I have several friends running the E-Force blowers. They all really like them and the cars each put out down decent numbers on otherwise stock cars (400-450 rwhp, depending on transmission). Each has the standard airbox, but two of them are still waiting on the competition upgrade.

There are so many good blowers on the market. None are bad. Choose the one you like and ignore anyone who says you should buy the one that's on their own car.

Considering the E-Force or a Roush TVS 2300 as they both seem of OEM quality. Been looking into the pros and cons of each. The Roush has the option for a dual belt system and room for growth. The E-force looks like a nice system but there should be a more generic version that doesn't have Edlebrock logos all over it. The E-force is smog legal which is important in my state.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the E-Force I had installed last December.

Looks great. Do you have other mods on that car? Did you use the canned tune or custom tune? Do you have any 1/4 mile times?
I'm looking to make a SC the only mod. At least for a few years.

I have a -few- other mods on the car...
It's the Edelbrock tune which came with the Kit.
I have not run on the strip yet.

Sweet. I've always liked the plainness and clean lines of the Bullit. I like that the strut tower brace fits above the E-force and below the stock hood.

Great thread. I thought I wanted a KB SC but now I'm second guessing.

How much HP can our stock 4.6 bottom end handle?

Thanks, and this E-Force will get it there right "outta the box" with just the kit and tune?

it will get you close i plan on purchasing brenspeed's stage 1 kit that's rated at 560 crank. i dont want to push my luck with the bottom end holding up any more than that. they also have a kit thats rated at 600 crank hp just look around there are several companies that sell the E-FORCE with a custom tune that pushes more power than the kit from Edelbrock

ehhh highly doubt that.

OP: if you want a DD blower, look at the m90, its safe and cheaper.
If not, just get a TVS. save yourself the hassle now. or any other blower for that matter. Centris will shock your drivetrain a little less and save you in the long run...

Doubting that based off of what? The blower uses the TVS rotors.. It's capable of 600 rwhp.

The Eaton plant that make and grind these rotors are right across the street from were I work, They put the same rotors in alot of blowers, their biggest customer is GM...The biggest difference in the e-force is that it's a front intake blower which in turn takes the the air charge in the bottom and blows it up through the intercooler and back down the runners. Instead of the others that are rear intake and then blow it down through 90 degree bends.

Thanks for the link. Definitely looks like something I could tackle myself.

Certainly don't want to hijack this thread but which concept is "better" for building power?

I traded my V6 for this GT recently with the sole purpose of adding a power adder so any info is appreciated.

To the OP, if this offends you and you feel like I should start my own thread I apologize in advance and will do just that if need be.

Now for me and driving a street legal DD this is a good system with alot of torque, Now if my intentions were just to drag race, I'm sure twin turbos or a procharger would be more inline.

not offended at all. the E-FORCE offers a less restrictive air flow design with its front intake and blowing the air up and threw the intercooler and then threw the long runners compared to other styles that blow the air down threw the intercooler and it has to make two sharp 180 degree turns to come back up and go into the combustion chamber.

check out the videos at this link to see the specs and features the second vid will explain your question more clearly
