I get what your saying, Againstallodds1, and understand how that works. I just don't like the idea of spraying anything before the MAF sensor. I would rather not risk contaminating one of the most important sensor's in the system.

I was under the assumption that its better to spray meth after the blower and just a tad before the throttle body..
Where are you guys tapping into the intake manifold at a position that it flows evenly?

Pretty awesome, i really want to see what this manifold does on a stock motor with bolt ons vs the stock manifold with delete plates and bolt ons. Kid in my car club just bought one and hasn't test it on the track yet or had before/after dyno numbers.. Then again he didn't have delete plates before.

This has already been done on a bolt-on car with delete plates already stock heads/cams, its good for 5rwhp. The bigger gains come with heads/cams/fi.

On an 80 degree day the same tune on the stock manifold made 539rwhp and 546rwtq at 12psi/16 degrees timing. Next chance we get on a comparable temp day plan to do a few pulls, overlay the graphs and see how the frpp intake compares throughout the rpm range. Then swap to the ba5000 retune and up the boost!
All in all not the best day but did get a glimpse of how the manifold is going to do with the turbo. I am happy with it for sure! Btw car feels more solid/smooth through idle, throttle tip in and decel.

Did boost drop with the FRPP manifold vs. stock? In theory, if it is flowing more, I would almost expect boost to drop somewhat.

maybe on a super charger car but not on a turbo car. boost is done off the waste gate/ boost controller so what ever the spring is set at on the waste gate that is what it will make unless you use the boost controller then you adjust it to what ever boos you want.

Your 100% right. I meant to say relocate the IAT sensor. I am still draw through with my MAF before the turbo. I relocated the IAT to 12" before the throttle body. I would NOT spray over the MAF and wouldnt recommend it. But you do want the IAT after the meth nozzle so you can pickup what its doing and the car can pull timing when it fails.
Sometimes its hard to type when you got a 1yr old pulling at the laptop. LOL

About an hour and ahalf later started her up to do the first pull with the new manifold. Let the car warm up to 180 first. By this time we were seeing 107-110 degress and 25% humidty in the shop.

Just a nasty hot, bad day for doing the testing damn it!, anyways...

Mike had to let out as it was a little too lean past 4K rpms. You can still see the low-end gains and really started to see the difference from 3800+. Blue is baseine red is frpp intake. Even so you can see peak gains of 32rhp and 21rwtq.

Added some wot fuel and pulled again about 10 mins later. It pulled timing again so its hard to judge what the gains are really going to be past 4500rpm which sucked. Did another run just to see. Iats were 128, iat hi temp code....
Decided it was too hot and called it a day so no ba5000 and no upping boost for now.
Not a huge difference in peak gains since it occure as timing was being pulled put still very noticeable difference from stock manifold even below 4500!
(2 blue lines are baslines and green and red lines are frpp manifold)

That means more like the 40hp they claimed in optimum conditions.... I like it. I have this intake in a N/A form with the rest of FRPP stuff....It feels like its stronger up top but I havnt dynoed it yet and I was running CMCV deletes so I am running the same tune. Love your car OP its bad ass and I am looking forward to the results on a better day!

Your car is looking great Lightblade. I only hope I have as good luck with my build as you did with your's! I know it took a while but you didn't really have any "Major" set back's! Nice job! Underhood looks clean, exteriour is great. Performance to boot! Congrats!

The motor doesn't torque over or move at all with the prothane motor mounts. So far no vib or noise i only got the stb back on today.
