So it sounds good?????

Oh yea!!!!!!! I really don't find it loud at all. Seriously. I was a bit nervous thinking maybe the O/R H was gonna be to loud and obnoxious, well, honestly if it was anymore QUIETER I'd be disappointed!!! It only wakes up when you wick it up, which any exhaust would do. I'm not a teenager by a loooooong stretch and this "tone" is just right.

Overall, I thought it was going to be HELLA loud, but not even close. It is real throaty and musclecar meaness!!!

Excellent decision if I must say so myself, hell, I may even look into some Magnapack axlebacks now.:omfg::clap:

On a side note, I'm STILL WAITING on my freakin tune from BBR(HELLO JOHN!!!WTF!!!!:mad2:) but even then, I didn't get the Check Engine Light so I'm good with my present tune for now.

Most tuners turn off the rear O2 sensors in their tunes, which is why you don't have a light

Congrats man and good job of wrenching up and doing it yourself!! At least now you know. I did the shorties but when it came time for the longtubes I took it to get installed, the lift comes in really handy!! Enjoy. BTW what axelbacks are you running??

I came up with the bright idea to install my Kooks at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, with jack stands, alone. Well, me and Captain Morgans. Worked till 2:30 a.m., and had an hour left of work in the morning, but I drove it to work by 9:00 a.m. on Monday. Not difficult, just lots of steps.

Didn't know that, thanks. I'll call them Monday.

Thanks Andf1978! The steering shaft wasn't as bad as I'd made it out to be, but I did mark EVERYTHING before removing.

I'm running FRPP Stingers.:boobies:

It took me over an hour to get my car up in the air on 4 Jack stands because it's so low....LOL! No way would I have attempted this running on no sleep. I would have taken a hammer to something I can assure you. I took my time and taped off my headers so they wouldn't get marked up. Actually, I had the engine lifted up enough they slid right in.

Things that were time consuming were: 1) getting those OEM studs out of the heads with a little tiny 3/16th socket. Pain in the ass. 2)getting to the drivers side bottom header bolts with headers in place. Not much room for a socket, much less a combo wrench.:wtf: 3) top starter bolt. I was able to tighten it better from the top versus trying to mess with it from the bottom. Stevie Wonder would've had better luck than most....LOL!

Other than those 3 slowdowns, not a bad job at all.:thumb2:

Guess cams next?:chainsaw:

Dont worry man, when ever you start that car with BBR tune you will feel so good you did it your self that only taking those headers off to trade your car for a 2011 GT will make you feel bad again :deadhorse: ME!! ME!! ME!!....

Thanks Luis for the hook up!!! I told you they were going to a good home. LOL! I love them! I'm stoked about having them and the fit and finish are TOP SHELF!! I love the notches cut out on the bottom bolt holes that allow you to "hang" the headers and then slide the gasket down between the head and header. Made for a nice clean gasket/rtv installation.

I know one thing, these headers will sell with the car. I ain't climbing back under there to take nothing off. LOL!!!!!!:thud:

I don't have much of a "video camera", so the sound quality would be horrible. I just made a quicky but as mentioned the sound quality of this camera SUCKS!!.:sigh1::tdown:

Well post it! My fav exhaust vid i've heard was the ARH + O/R H + Stingers, that was posted in a different thread you made i think.

Im curious what the comparison would be

make sure you check the header bolts after a few heat cycles. if you didnt use locking header bolts they may back out on you once or twice. Mine did
