First of all, I am familiar with the mustangs in general, I owned '02 gt and '03 cobra previously. I loved my cobra, best car I ever had, for about $1200 my dynograph went from 405 to 493 and ran a 1/4 in 11.9 on 17 tire, that’s includes everything, from pulley to a new ram clutch and fidanza flywheel. I had to sell it because I was buying a house and needed extra cash. Honestly I am not big fan of gt's, you can get up to about 500 rwhp and anything more would cost you some serious $$$$$, cobra on another hand is best value out there but I cant get one right now.
Second, when I sad I didn’t do enough research I meant on the whole s197 platform, and particularly on the vehicle I just purchased. I know that it is so called "ELEANOR" basically a GT with a kit and some rims, I think this one in particular was done by Bob Curgan Classics from FL, the whole kit was a $14-16000 option. And no I didn’t get for $40+ k, I got this car from the auction for $8000, it is a salvage vehicle that was hit in passenger front corner. I think I can get it put together for another $5-6k, and at the end have a '08 gt with Eleanor body kit, 32k miles extremely clean in and out for under $15k.....

S197 has enough information on the site that probably 99% of the questions about your car can be found using the search button and doesn’t even require the interaction with other forum members if you don’t like the way people carry themselves on this forum. I find it amusing and if you keep a good attitude and don’t get sad when someone is blunt with you then you'll love this place as well.
