So what broke? Piston? Rod? Oil pump?

I suppose we may never find out.....

I have confidence the tune was good. Not so sure on the gas that was being used at the time it was hurt but that is simply speculation.

All good things come to those that wait. As far as gas. The car was tuned for pump gas and I was running 1 can of Torco to every 5 gallons that was in the car. I keep a 5 gallon drum in the garage.

Should have been plenty of safety margin in the fuel.

Still doesn't answer the question....

daaaam Props for the being one of the first with carnage lol

To admit it anyway.

Rumor is ST Motosports '11 is dead as well. Heard it was just a couple oil pump failures though.

I've had too much carnage on my own car this year, I don't wish it on anyone. That's detonation that fails a piston like the one above.

That sucks but it will be built stronger and who knows if it was the tune the fuel or something else that caused it but thanks for finally posting it up

I'm going to try and hold on to everything for a little while longer I think unless somebody comes waving some good cash my way for the entire car. Market is just not there to sell anything right now.
