Wow, I just read this whole thread. Matt, That thing is going to kick some ass. Your Car is so light too. I think that motor just has way more N/A potential for more power it seems than anything ford has put out in awhile. This really looks like a winning combo.

Im even re using my stock clutch lol. If I have any issues you guys will be the first to hear about it.

I like this the most! I'm a big supporter of stock clutches. Properly broke-in, and not slipped, they'll take a lot of abuse.

In my '03 Cobra I ran the original stock clutch for 4 years. It saw a supercharger, SC + nitrous, twin turbos, two different flywheels (aluminum and steel -like the steel much better), 3 different engines, autocross, 600 hp, 4 years of drag racing all the way down to 10.77@131. Ended up selling that car with it's original clutch still in it.

Anyway, nice build Matt, awesome progress. I'd like to ditch my 347 and run this motor in my '85 Capri.

Woke up late again this morning -_-... I totally forgot it's new year's eve today... So I booked out of the shop around 3:30. I didn't do a whole lot today but did get jump on some stuff.

First thing I wanted to do was finished running the forward and return lines into the engine bay area.

Just before they go into the engine bay I wanted to make a bracket and tie them up nice (factory line's were bolted in that spot) So I grabbed a small piece of alum and made it happen

Clean it up... and even grabbed some mag polish to make it shine :roflmao:

Grabbed the clamps and bolted it on

Grabbed my template for the trunk and traced it out on a sheet of alum

Cut it out

I still have to cut the square out for the sump and bolt it in.... But I will do that after Jan 1st.

I bolted the steering rack back on and put the driver side wheel on aswell (just wanted it sitting on the ground before I left)

Couldn't help my self.... These had to go on :evillaugh:

Looking awesome. How much power is the 5.0 suppose to put out anyway, I think it was around 400, pretty sweet. Maybe I should trade my engine and S/C in on one of these, I bet it would be awesome backed by my t56.

I don't understand, why did you cut out the entire spare tire well when all you seemingly needed was a slot for the sump?

I already posted why, I had to cut the center dome out. Because the sump wouldn't go through the floor. It's almost done though... lol
