Damn Ultra those look fuckin sick man..... badass job
I have a can and need to do my fogs since I bought a hidden fog grill and they show through it just like they were still mounted IN the grill. Just been too lazy to pull them out and do it.

I love it and I talked to the local cops and they said it was fine to have my lights like they are!
Looks so clean!

Very nice! Did mine with VHT a few years ago, it's a great mod.
Just did another set last month, that's a touch darker.. I still need to CC them though. Hopefully get to them this weekend.

Haha well if it's good for you then hopefully the cops aren't any different up here!
If you do decide to do this mod, I'll give you my number and I'll be available to answer questions and help ya.
Thanks BB!!that just looks absolutely phenominal! I love it!!

Mine are pretty dark too, and I haven't been pulled over for them yet... Knock on wood![]()

I used the VHT Nightshades from my local O'Reillys auto parts store for $11.99 a can. I only used one can for all the multiple coats I put on it. A little goes a long way.
As for clear I used the Dupont Clear for about $3 a can at Walmart.
The beauty of this project comes with patience between layers and proper wetsanding. You really can't screw this up if you're concerned. If you don't like what you see, sand it down and buff it out.
Piece of cake.

this video here he doesnt wet sand between coats of vht but does before spraying the vht and after spraying the clear..ive read a few different ones this way and then ones that they sand between coats of the vht also.. so i will sand before spraying the vht and then after spraying the final coat of vht before the clear and then again after spraying the clear but not between coats of vht..does that sound good? anyone do it this way or should i really wait and spray between coats of the vht
