It is good :p 1.60 flat is hard to do with that power that's why I asked lol....I hit 1.60's at 12.0 et's, 330wrhp geared perfect weighing 3210lbs. Just comparing that's all. I ran the exact same tire you have back then too :roflmao:

Your car is hooking great

Yeah I'm pretty happy with it. Its a good street/strip suspension. I know the H&Rs aren't great for drag racing, but when I'm on my street rims it looks BAD ASS:naughty1:

One of these days (when the car isn't my DD) I'll switch over to a lighter front setup and CJs in the rear. :evillaugh:

Why do you say that? What doesn't seem right? :wtf1:

Hahaha okay cool. I was like :wtf1: I thought 1.69 was good considering my mods:thumb:
I would kill for a 1.69 60ft. Thats real impressive.If I could get in the 1.6s I may hit a 12.50. The best I've seen was a 1.80 on 18in wheels. I'm hoping with Race Stars and a front sway bar removal I can hit the 1.60s and a 12.5x 1/4 ET.

60ft--1.80
330ft-5.317
1/8--8.18 @ 85.8mph
1/4--12.75 @ 108

Hoping for better times in Florida in March.

I believe on that run I was launching around 5,200, and shifting at 6,100 (limiter is at 6200)

I just need to work on my reaction times :dunce:
Just some small suggestions that might help lower your ET. Your 1/8 et looks good but mph is 1-2 mph low as well as 1/4 mph and et is falling off. Your mph should be in the 107-108 mph. I assume you still have the charge motion plates still on the car. Bump your rev limiter up to 6800 and shift at 6200-6400, your throttle body starts to close at 400rpms before set rev limiter. Also data log your timing to see if the car is pulling timing.

Good Luck.

I have the new upr suspension... Has an adjustable spring perch. I should be lower the back end of the car without sacrificing the travel.

I can't wait to try this :D Im aiming for 1.3x sixty foots this season

Thanks! Yes - I still have the stock charge motion plates. I'll be putting deletes in this summer. I'll try to set the limiter higher, and see if that helps the mph. Is there any danger revving the stock engine that high?

Ask MATT D about the potential high rev...Ha Ha. He banged gears at almost 7k rpm on that 4.6 3v for years. However, it is almost common knowledge that the 4.6 3v can handle ~6500rpms on occasion. But remember you don't need to shift at that rpm in your car as setup because it falls off on power after~6200rpms. The aim is to boost the power bnd by 500 rpms by setting the rev limiter higher so you will NOT lose power at your shift points. When you get the CMDP's in then the car will go higher rpms with ~ 10rwhp with them as well as a set of Long Tubes, ~20rwhp and rwtq. These will help power above 6krpms for a tenth or two and 2mph at trap.

What to you mean almost at 7000? I shifted at 7200 :roflmao:

The stock oil pump gears is something that scatters at high rpms , which I replaced but my bottom end was stock. Valve springs is another that would need to be upgraded when reving above 6800 rpms.

On stock valve springs, stock oil pump I reved to 6700. See my sig quote ;)

Pardon me Mesir,

Indeed, where the rpms land after shift is very, very important on mister small block.

Qa1 springs
^^I Just saw those on their site in sales(never seen them before and still cant find it in rear suspension or anything.). I'm taking most, if not all off my Roush suspension and selling so I'll be looking into those for sure now that I have the front suspension on the way.

Matt how did you like running the rear anti roll bar on the street? I have a buddy trying to convince me to take off the rear sway too and switch to anti roll bar.

Big changes are happening this summer (check my Nitrous thread for details on that)

Matt is not the only one spinning to 7k or above so dont think, "oh well that's just one guy!" lol. There are quite a few people doing it. I havent seen/heard any issues yet. However, I did have a HSW plate kit for my car but I steered away from that considering it's already 362 horse and spinning to 7k. I wouldnt be able to stop myself from throwing a 100 load on there so I'm going the n/a route and see what I cant do.
