Rasmus hit the nail on the head. I'm not the car show type. I like to race everything I have. Seeing them sit, bugs me. I heard this morning that the Grand Sport will be gone tomorrow. Here are some pics. I might keep the 90 ZR1, not sure yet.

There is a guy here in New Mexico that has a really nice Ford GT for sale. I saw it a couple of weeks ago at a photo shoot. Let me know if you want any info on it, I think I have some photos of it.

Marc, WTF? Those new pistons must of done the trick.

BTW I'll be happy to test drive your GT when you get it. You know, so you can look at the suspension while it's being driven. Got any leads on one yet?

I still don't have the damn pistons. DSS is draging their feet. They did confirm that the first set of pistons they sent were wrong and it was their fault I'm about ready to put a BBF and auto in it. Then sell all the 3V stuff. I just finished porting the heads too. They turned out really nice.

What happened to the Chevy truck?

Which truck? The Grabber Blue one?

That means there's still time to get flattops and fill a few barrels of E85. Speaking of auto.... Is the C4 going in?

No on the Mighty Might C4. It's sitting here looking at me. I think I will stick with the 5cc dish. Hell, if I call DSS and change my mind, I may never get the car back together.

I has hoping it would be running so I could race it with the Porsche club tomorrow.

Don't you have a new ZR1 too? Are you selling it?

I never ended up buying the ZR1. The dealers had insane markups on them so I passed. About the same time my brother in law contacted me about buying his ACR Viper. Stock the ZR1 is faster, but I think the ACR is badass. I know he had Hennessey do a a bunch of work to it. Not sure what though.

I wish I had of known you back then I knew a dealer selling a white ZR1 that a friend considered for an amount over invoice that would have blown your mind. He passed on the car as he is not really a Vette guy but damn it was an amazing deal.

The ZR1 is faster top speed, but I am not sure its quicker Jamie Furman the same guy who took his Z06 and ZR1 into the 10's bone stock also took an ACR into the 10's bone stock. Rumor has they will make 600 rwhp with full exhaust / intake and a tune N/A.

I am so jealous , I would love to go with you but it would be hard to take off work for that long! What about the 01 C5 Z06? An ACR has to be the baddest American car on planet earth its a track terror that bone stock will lap most of anything out there.

Yes the Chevy in the first pic. Its beautiful.

It's a 1971. It has a mild 396 and a super T10 4 speed, power steering, power disc brakes, black and white houndstooth interior. Asking $14,000.

The 01 Z06 needs to go. Black on Black 18,000 miles, asking $20,000.
93 40th Anniversary Coupe with 16,000 miles, asking $15,000.
93 40th Anniversary roadster with 11,000 miles asking $19,000.

Thanks. They are mostly gone now and the shop is empty.

If all goes as planned, I can work on my next big project in Acton Montana.

You're coming out to Acton? For reals?

Maybe. I have property in Livingston that I would like to build on. And there are two businesses in Montana that are for sale that I am interested in. One is in Livingston and the other is in Acton. The one in Acton has not been successful for the past few years. But with a little work it could be profitable enough to make it worth the effort. My wife works for the Federal Government and works from home so she can live anywhere.

Driving a Camry across Montana (I mean Mexico) after delivering the GT500 is boring. I had to make it go by quicker. I did not find the Camry to thrifty on fuel at all. An hour of this really drained the tank.
