Kooks. I gained 15 HP peak with mine and didn't lose any low end power.

Pypes are the same as Kooks in terms of design, just a different material. It's no surprise Kooks has the most votes simply because it's what people have. The American Racing headers make more power but because more people have Kooks, it's got the most votes. I'm not so sure polls like these are that helpful beyond seeing who has them. Don't get me wrong. The Kooks are a good header and I wouldn't hesitate to put them on my ride.

Personally, if I was going to spend the money on Kooks or American Racing headers than it'd be the American Racing headers since they are a true longtube where the Kooks are more of of an equal length. Kooks has had problems with their cats in the past, have these problems been addressed? I haven't ever heard of any problems with American Racing cats. If I wanted something cheaper than I would go with the Pypes and maybe get them coated. I'm considering it on my car when the time comes.

Some headers you have to take off with a clutch change, may want to consider that since their are difficult to install.

Do tell. Which headers need to come out for a clutch install? I would definitely want to steer clear.

+10000 I'm not sure headers should even be worth over a thousand dollars. :wtf1:

mac, pypes and jba are nicely priced headers with great reviews I'll go that way if I decide on headers but I don't see how headers can be worth over a grand EVER lol
