Dan nice numbers&vid great sounding setup between the supershaker&your gt500 mufflers. It was good to see you again out at mustangs unlimited. Not sure if your into drag racing your car? But me and a few buddies are heading out to commerce friday night to make a few passes. $20 to run your car gates open at 6pm close at 11pm. First runs around 6:30

Nice numbers for that boost. Definitely need to add a bap or he gt500 pumps for that kind of power. I wouldnt get on in the higher rpms until you get that taken care of

JDM said I can do GT500 pumps without a retuning. They are too rich for wallet right now. Can I also install a BAP without a retune? From what I read on KB about the BAP it seems like he ECM should take care of everything without a new tune.

you might need a little tweak of the current tune...but BAP is a million times good for that set-up...getting over 525 then you need the gt500 pumps. That is my .02, but same yourself some time...a ton of people run the BAP...and with a fuel pressure gauge you are just fine.

Thanks ... but I'm not really convinced yet I need a BAP or pumps.

I have been playing around with LIVELINK and the Data Log I got from the Dyno Run.

From what I can tell ... my Fuel Pump Duty Cycle maxed out at 88% at 6000 RPM. Seems like there is still room in the tune to richen things up and stay below 12 A/F and not hit 100% duty.

I emailed JDM about this and am waiting to hear back...

I am pretty posiive if you spent the money on the SC and everything else a BAP is the safe choice...fuel is not a place you want to be on the edge of...at least that is my thinking.

I hear yah. I'm gonna go with the GT500 pumps I think. Cheaper than a new engine thats for sure. Jim assures me that is the problem since he has seen cars on the dyno during tuning start going lean at around 90% Duty.

So far Buy Ford Racing seems to be cheapest at $655 ... Also 2010 requires a different version of the kit ...apparantly the sending unit signal is different between the 2005-2009 cars and the 2010+ cars ...

I did not even bother checking my duty cycle... when I dropped to the 3.5 in. pulley, I installed GT500 pumps at the same time. Peace of mind made it a worthwhile investment.

That puts down more power to the wheels at 1.5k than mine does making peak power.

I need to fix that... Lol.
