Weighed my Coyote today - guess what it weighs...

I have probably the heaviest [manual] GT around. Mine weighs 3680 in street trim with 1/4 of a tank of gas. The glass roof weighs 26lbs more than the steel roof. I have every option. Trés heavy!

    Throttle stuck open!

There has to be an external cause - a spring cannot unseat, then reseat itself, then do so again more than once. A spring either works or it does not work. Check carefully for things snagging or hooking on the pedal assembly.

    Switched 5V source

I really would not **** with the 5vdc sensor reference line. That is a very low-current, calibrated reference voltage for all of the sensors that the engine needs to run. If you tap off it, you will cause dips and spikes with current draw that at the very least will make your sensors run all...

[Strange clutch issue] Progressively stiff pedal, can't shift above 6k rpms

"Fixed", yes. Actually fixed? Questionable at best. You will have to take the trans off to check it, though.

[Strange clutch issue] Progressively stiff pedal, can't shift above 6k rpms

Have you checked to see if your pressure plate bolts are backing out?

EVAP underhood solenoid / EGR questions

+1, the Coyote 5.0 has neither an EVAP nor an EGR system; it's all entirely internal. The engine uses the variable cam timing to accomplish these things. Your noise is not normal. It might be an induction whine. The engine also doesn't have any idle air control. You may or may not have noticed...

grease on outside hub assembly? I miss something??

Until you replace the wheels with aftermarket wheels that don't have the corresponding recess for them, and don't think to take them off, and then you have unbalanced wheels and you cannot for the life of you figure out why. But other than that, good idea.

For real?? SCT not compatible with MAC???

    >Buys a computer whose main selling point is its inability to be modified >Takes great pleasure in this fact, gloats about it constantly >Bitches about inability to use it to modify his car

    Leaded 110

It will destroy plugs in short order. It will destroy O2 sensors, all four of them, in short order. It will destroy catalytic converters, both of them, in short order. What in the hell do you think you are gaining by running leaded fuel? If you need higher octane, convert, and tune for, E85.

    Stock 11GT alarm going off?!?

If you lock the door by sticking your key in it and turning it, the alarm system will activate sans motion sensors. This way, if you leave your windows half-down or whatever you can still lock your car without the alarm going off every time somebody walks by it. That doesn't solve OP's problem...

    Can the alternator affect tuning?

Bad voltage will absolutely screw with a tune. It will screw with the factory tune too. Many factors in a tune depend on accurate voltages.

siliconeintakes.com is very good for... well, silicone parts. They are more miss than hit for non-silicone parts. As you've found out.

    brembo brake question

In 2011 and 2012, the strut tower brace was standard on any vehicle with 19" wheels, and the convertible. If you ordered the accessory 19" wheels (few did), you got a STB. If you got the BBP, which comes with 19" wheels, you got a STB. I don't know how it's done for 2013 but for the few years...

Weight of aftermarket lowering springs vs stock

So what if sway bars are band-aids? Band-aids are band-aids, too, and we still use the hell out of them. Besides, sway bars are compromises, not band-aids. Yes, stiffer springs are the ultimate solution to body roll, but springs stiff enough to eliminate body roll would be utterly unusable for...

Don't have anything to say about your car other than that I hope you get it fixed soon, but - From a fellow military member (USN), MUCH RESPECT for being an Old Guard soldier. I've heard the insane things you guys have to do on a regular basis. Some might say you guys don't really do much, but...

Anyone wanna know what a PCM looks like inside?

There is a looooooooooooooot of room on there for expansion. Interesting. And Stephen, most PCBs that go in automotive or severe-duty applications are coated in a sealant. Acrylic polymer sealants are popular and common. Silicone is another one you'll find a lot.

    Underdrive pulleys?

Seeing this thread again gives me a headache. Smog pump? Seriously? This isn't an '89 LX. The AC compressor does not put any drag on the engine when it isn't engaged. It's called a clutch. You may have heard of it. I actually haven't heard of any UDPs out, but I'm sure there are some. They...
