Can someone with an 11+ check the psi rating of the engine coolant cap?

You would be wrong there, but the 11 and up is indeed 16 psi.

I've seen imports that had 12, 14, and 18 psi caps.

The current Camaro is 20 psi. Noticed it yesterday at a car show.

A higher-compression cooling system theoretically raises efficiency by increasing the boiling point of the coolant. Fewer air bubbles would form at higher temperatures, thus maintaining the thermal capacity of the coolant.
