Hi there. I have a 2006 Mustang GT that I've had for some time and decided it was ready for some modifications.
I've added a SR Performance Cold Air Intake and drove for months and no issues.
I decided to throw on some shorty headers, Flowtech, to be exact and have had nothing but issues!
After I installed them, the P1071 code came stating my Bank 1 was too lean.
which is honestly expected since there is an exhaust leak due to a missing bolt (one snapped during uninstallation of original headers)
but after a week of driving the car, the P1074 code came on stating my Bank 2 is too lean.
I don't see why it was such a delay from the first code coming on, to the second one if it actually has had a problem. I've checked vaccum lines, checked if intake was good.
I was wondering if someone could help me out here. I'm frusturated because I don't know what's causing this, and feels like a mistake installing the headers since now I have a low fuel economy due to both banks adding +25% fuel.
