08 GT wont start

hey guys this is the first time this has happened since i had this car.went to start car this afternoon.it seemed i didnt turn the key fully forward when starting.when i went to re-start the car would not turn over.usually if i let it sit for a few seconds it will start but now its acting like its flooded.any ideas.car is basically stock except for sct tune and cai

Try it again but make sure the clutch is all the way to the floor. It happens.

If it's not turning over then it isn't because of a flood condition. That would be a battery or starter issue at that point. Or clutch pedal not being down far enough as Bruce pointed out.

ok should have clarified its an auto.not battery the car wants to turn over then spudders and stalls

it happened in past where it seems i dont turn key far enough and it stalls.but always starts back up.

My guesses in no particular order are spark plugs, coil packs, or fuel injectors.

If you give it a little gas, while starting it, will it keep from stalling?
Have you tried reinstalling the factory airbox and running the stock tune?

Disconnect your MAF and see if it will start. If it starts and runs then it is tune related. If it doesn't start it's something else, try holding the accelerator all the way to the floor before you turn the key on and see if it will start and run then.

ok its cranking but seems there is no ignition.now i smell fuel and there is white smoke out of tailpipes.tried holding accelerator down and starting.it almost starts then just sputters
