Hello new to the forum. I just recently put on 19x8.5 and 19x10 AMR 255/40/19 and 285/35/19 wheel/tire setup on my 2011 GT. I was wondering if anyone has done an 1.5inch drop all the way around and have no issues?

Thank you guys

That should not be a problem at all as long as you get an adjustable panhard bar. Lots of guys running 305s and even 315s out back (with proper offset wheels) on lowered cars (with things like Ford K springs).

Below is the BMR adjustable PHB. Made from DOM tubing. The adjustable portion is made from heat treated chromolly steel. Adjustable portion goes on pass side. Adjustable portion is several inches in from the end. Pass side of PHB is attached to body of car. Drivers side of PHB attached to axle. Dead simple to crawl underneath... and tweak with 2 x wrenches, while ur helper tells u when it'd dead on.

Without the adj PHB, ur 285's will be sticking out 3/8" to 1/2" on driver's side.

Toss the oem 3 x sided stamped steel... upper PHB support.... it's junk.
Get the BMR HD DOM boxed version.

I have a 2010 GT and lowered it with Ford Performance K's 1.5" all around and have 20 "rims with 275/35 up front and 295/35 rear. I have no issues at all. I did need an adjustable PHB and you will likely need to align the car as well.

Why does it matter where the adjustment is on the panhard...?

Some, like the FRPP version, are at extreme end on pass side.... and a real bitch to adjust, with thin open end wrenches. The BMR version is a piece of cake.

Beautiful Car Nelson

Nice set up with the tires/wheels. Do you happen to know your wheel off-sets?
Thank you
