The TVS-2650 flows a bunch, esp the VMP version. Toss is DR's, LT's, and a 93 tune, and a good driver, lower 60' time, some suspension tweaks...+ more boost... and ultimate performance will be through the roof.

GT350 is not available in an automatic though, that is the bad thing for guys like me who drive with hand controls and need an auto. I'm surprised they never made the last GT500's with an auto either, that is why I bought a Roush when I did.

Reading reports of a kid (SMH) running a GT500 10.66 @ 132.... WOW!!

That's nuts. Off the production line and can run 10s?

With nearly 700rwhp right out of the box, I'd be disappointed if it didn't run 10s. Its mission was to beat the Dodge Challenger Redeye (10.884 @ 126.35) and it just about does so with a good launch.

10.665 @ 132.96

10.614 @ 133.21

Here's a Dodge Demon on the dyno for comparison:

https://www.hagerty.com/articles-videos/articles/2018/07/19/dodge-demon-on-the-dyno

91 octane: 723rwhp/648rwtq
Dodge claim 808hp & 717lbft at the crank, so that's a drivetrain loss of 10.5% & 9.6% respectively.

100 octane: 749rwhp/692rwtq
Dodge claim 840hp & 770lbft at the crank, so that's a drivetrain loss of 10.8% & 10.1% respectively.

I think it would be reasonable to use the same 10% drivetrain loss figure for the GT500. With figures of 684, 686, and 692rwhp already recorded for stock vehicles, Ford's claim of 760 crank hp is credible.

It’s amazing how far all the new cars have come. It’s a good time for all car enthusiasts.

There is a problem to all this. If a guy has a 400hp car he thinks it's slow. But, in reality, it's still pretty damn quick.

Plus nobody seems to be talking about the fact that the GT500 and Demons are pretty much undrivable to most owners with all the driving aids turned off.

IMO if you can't drive one of these cars without all of the driving aids turned off, then you probably should not be driving one of these cars. if you can drive one of these cars with a driving aids turned off then you can drive a real car.

On any public road with speed traps, you're unlikely to use more than about 100hp legally so if your car has 400hp, that's 300hp that you're hardly ever going to use. If your car has 800hp, that's 700hp that you're hardly ever going to use.
The questions you need to ask yourself are how badly do you want that extra 400hp, and is it worth the cost (other than for bragging rights)?

A speed camera that takes a photo of the car when it violates the speed limit. Depending on the sophistication of the technology, it may also capture the driver so there's no escape.
The biggest challenge any GT500 owner will have is avoiding speeding tickets. I find it difficult enough to restrain myself with less than half as much power under my right foot.

Ah gotcha.

I got a speeding ticket just last week. Officer was pulling onto the road going the opposite direction as I came over a hill. He immediately made a U turn, and lit me up. Said I was doing 60 in a 45. I had no idea they had radar so good as to check a moving vehicle, while moving themselves.

Yup, and there are also unmarked police cars with radar that can follow you or even catch you from the opposite direction.
Speed cameras have become even more sophisticated by calculating your average speed between two cameras. This prevents anyone from cheating by accelerating above the speed limit when out of the camera's view.

Here in BC, the camera (on a tripod) in front of a parked, un marked vehicle, (typ a van) would take pix of the rear plate..... and also the front plate (+ driver) of cars coming in opposite direction. 2 for 1 pizza deal. Owner of vehicle would get a colour pix of his plate + speeding ticket..in the mail...with time - date stamp, and exact location.

Problems started with the cars coming towards the camera. Pix would show the plate..and the driver.... and any front seat passengers. Some lawyer gets a large speeding ticket pix in the mail. Lawyers wife opens the large envelope.... and here's hubby lawyer speeding..... but the pix also caught the mystery young, hot blonde babe in the front seat of his BMW, late at night..on outskirts of town. The powerful flash lit em up. Wife goes beserko.

Lawyer takes it to supreme court, saying the pix violates privacy rights. He wins, no more pix of front of cars, only rear plates.

Makers of the equipment say it's the ultimate money making scam.
