And I'm kinda disappointed in my stock times. But should I be?

It's a 12 auto gt with 3:15 gears

First pass with 40psi in the tires.

2.241 60'
8.775 1/8 @ 84.19 mph
13.337 1/4 @ 109.42 mph

Second pass lowered the psi to 20 psi

2.125 60'
8.636 1/8 @ 84.57 mph

1000' went 11.111 (reason why I posted 1000' coming)

13.174 1/4 @ 109.80 mph

Third pass the guy told me if I didn't have a helment to slow it down to the 14s.
I changed nothin on this pass.

2.193 6.0'
8.567 1/8 @ 88mph

11.007 1000' and on the breaks to try and slow it down.

And went 13.404 @ 88.39 mph

So I noticed there is about 2 seconds difference between 1000' times and 1/4 mile times. So the last pass would of been a really low 13.00 pass or maybe a 12.99 pass

Are these ok times for a stock 5.0? Or do I still have faster times in it? But no matter what I had a lot of fun hanging with friends and beating on my new 5.0 and that's really what its all about!

Traction, better air and more practice. Once you solve for those, you will be pleased with some mid-12 second passes. :)

U just need to master leaving the line plus some good air would help. I have ran a 12.73 so far but air was good and got a 2.0 60'. Tonight air was worse and ran a 12.87 with a 1.9 60'.

Well went back to the track last night.

Bama 91 race tune, drag radials, and jlt cai

Car went 12.550 @ 112 mph with a 1.975 60' DA was around 1650

I think my 3:15 gears are killing my short times. If I could get 3:55 or something and get lower 1.9 or 1.8 60' I'm sure I would pick up alot!

What do yall think?

Yes you'd pick up some time with the gears, as your 60's would drop.
Nice times, though, for an otherwise stock car !!!

What tire are you running? Unless you have great local track prep gears won't do much on a 6r80 car because first is so steep you will most likely just spin. A 26" tire should put you around 6900 ish in third at the traps. Stick with the 3.15. You want to 60 better get a torque converter. Congrats on a good pass.

You didn't say how high your stalling your car but I try and 1000 rpm and no more on the stock converter.
