Went out to PBIR last night for the test and tune. This was my first time at the strip in at least 23 years and the first time my Stang has been WOT through the gears. Aside from not having any idea on where to go or what to do, I did get in three runs. First run was just off the street with no changes to the daily driver settings and I left off idle. It turned out my tire pressure was at 32psi. Second and third run I set the D-Specs at full soft in the front ( three turns soft in the rear) and lowered the tire pressure to 24psi. The timing light failed to catch the time on the 2nd run after the 330 mark. Up to then it was a 1.742 60'. Tried to bring up the launch rpms to 1500. Still lots of spinning off the line. Lots of tweeking and I need to get lot more experience. I feel the car has the potential for mid 11's so well see how long it that takes.
Stock motor with Whipple at 12.3 lbs boost, MT ET Streets, and A/T with 2600 stall. Air temp was 85 with humidity at 75%.
First run was against a Charger, gutted with a 426 stroker running a 100 shot and slicks. Third run was against a clean Challenger and it was really run watching it disappear from my perifial vision as I pulled away. Any tips or suggestions are appreciated.
