This morning turned out to be for sure one of the best in my "Life" ...

Hello gang,

I feel as though I have a new lease on Life as of this morning around 10:50 am.

Here is a post that has nothing at all to do actually with my Bullitt Mustang in regards to Modifying it.

However I have been wondering honestly if I would actually ever see it again much less drive it.

(Yes I'm being as serious as I know how with the above statement)

You know I gave this some thought before where to post this information about myself.

I decided to just post it right here on my Main-Thread on my Bullitt Mustang.

The way I see it anyone that's really interested will be reading this Thread and the Posts on it.

So why start a New Thread for me just sharing what just took place with me as of this morning at around 10:50 am.

The actual Story and events will follow,

I have had a higher than normal PSA (Prostate) readings for years now.

The Normal Range is (0.00-4.00).
Mine for yrs has been going up slightly.
It was in the high 6 range and then gradually got onto the 7 point something range.
As you can tell that is pretty far up from the Norm.

Moving on ........

Over 2-weeks ago I went in for the usual Blood-Work & Urine samples.
Almost immediately I get a call from my Urologist RN and she says, Terry your test are here and your PSA has shot up another .4 since 4-months ago.
Now you are at 8.22 so Dr. Whitfield (Urologist) had me schedule you into the Urology Surgery Center in Nashville, TN. for further tests.

Bring someone with you as you cannot drive yourself home after you wake-up from the tests.

So both the (Cystoscopy & Prostate Biopsy) tests I went and had done.

That was as I recall last Wednesday the 22nd of Oct.
I received a call to come back in this morning at 10 am for meeting with Dr. Whitfield.

Well they called me back from the waiting room around 10:50 am this morning.

I get led back and as usual they wanted a urine sample, again.

So, there I sit and the nurse comes in to take my vitals.
Like blood pressure and temperature.

That's over and yes my Blood-Pressure was up over the excepted 120 over 80.

Like mine was 140 over 90 !!!

Can't imagine why can you all.

So as I sit wondering whats going to take place now ???

Like my Prostate to get totally removed from Cancer or whatever.

Or crap even worse they found Cancer and I get told how long I have to be above ground.

I am facing the exam door and see it's opening and as soon as it opens enough for Dr. Whitfield to pass through he says.

Terry, No-Cancer ...

I said to him man you didn't even get all the way in the room much less sitting down Big-Guy.

He said I knew what you wanted to know because if it were me that's what I would want to know and No-Fooling-Around.

Terry buddy your good to go as you have nothing at all wrong and certainly nothing at all to do with Prostate Cancer.

We also discussed coming off the Testosterone pellets.
It was mutually decided since I could not really tell any appreciable benefit from being on them.
They also do contribute to an increased size/larger Prostate.
So No-More Testosterone Pellets.

Called Cathy as she was on her way home from our Condo in FL. for the past week.

Did that while sitting in the parking lot of the Southern Hills Hospital parking lot.

She said her stomach had been in knots all morning as she knew I was there waiting for the test results.

For those wondering I told Cathy to go to the Condo and try to Relax and enjoy her Family.
She could not do anything about any of what was taking place with me.
So her staying home to me was just not right as a neighbor (Retired) took and brought me back home from having the tests done.

I will say this and for those that know me will totally realize I'm telling this as it really is.

I told Jeff (My Urologist) you know buddy what has been running through my mind ???
I thought this is a heck of a note that my Mustang is still in IN. and I have had this running though my mind.
If this goes really-really-bad I might never see it again much less get to drive it.
He ain't no car guy but he sure thought that was FUNNY.

It must be a terrific relief and an end to sleepless nights. Great news Terry! Stay well.

That is great news man!

Guys,

You know one thinks to themselves (Should I even Mention what's been going on) ???

So I decided just wait and see what the tests results are and then decide if you want to tell anyone.

You know many of us talk car stuff all the time and sometimes we even talk about a few things more important than our cars. :thud:

Let me just say this and not drag this out further.

I appreciate all your post and certainly the comments on each of the posts.

I'm just damn glad this prostate CANCER Scare is finally over with.

Now back to the Mustang. :hi:

LOL,
Terry

BTW,
I just heard from BRENSPEED (Brent) and he said he had
something he was going to send me he thought I would want to see.

Nick,

Thank-You and as you read all is A-OK on this end. :beerchug2:

The wife (Cathy) came back last night from the condo.
She went down with some of her family for a week of vacation.
I told her to go and not stay here with me having the tests.
She could not change anything so she might as well went to FL. with her family.

It all worked out very well for her and me. :hi:

The very Latest New's from Brent at BRENSPEED this afternoon ...

OK,
Back to the 2008 Bullitt Mustang:

Brent (Brenspeed Owner) has been keeping me in the loop on the new changes to the tigermachine.

I think the easiest thing to do is simply post exactly what I just received from Brent this afternoon below.

That way you all will be totally up to date as I am on what's taken place and is continuing.

Tiger,

Got your e-mail.

I wanted to send you a couple teaser pics of your Mustang. One being a
dyno chart of where I am at on the car. The other being our soon to be
released Hurricane modified TVS upgrade we fitted on the Tiger machine.
As you and I spoke about prior to your upgrades we are starting to meet
the max airflow limits of some of your internal engine components mainly
being the camshaft. I tested the Hurricane Upgrade on a lower power car
that was not so maxed out (more like the typical TVS car) and saw higher
gains but it was about 70 rwhp less than yours starting out. We have
really opened up the car on both sides so I will move forward for the design
of the new camshaft to take advantage of your new upgrades. Because
you are wanting the new grind I will not spend more time raising the power
of the current combo through calibration and save that for when the new
camshaft set is installed. I will be sure to focus on not just power but
drivability as well I know how you like to take this thing to Cracker Barrel
every morning
icon_smile.gif
It will take a few weeks to finish the cam design from the
new data and get them ground and shipped here.

Good to hear the news from your Dr. ! CONGRATS!

Brent
