When I was considering a whipple, I remember the techs at whipple asking if mine was an 08?...I said no, '07... because the whipple tech said that the 08's would come with the box instead of the open filter. I remember asking him if I did have an 08, could I simple order the kit for an 07 and he said yes...
I bet you could call whipple and simply buy the conversion or something to get the kit converted to an open filter. (you will have to get it tuned then...)
And for those dudes here who are surprised by things like this... this is the result of electing the most radical administration in the history of our country. (although this legislation has been here before he was elected) This guy is bought and paid for by the unions, trial lawyers (poeple who want more litigation to earn their keep), radical homosexuals, radical environmentalists (the modern day home for communists), government workers... and everyone else who relies on the "Government" for a paycheck.
The House of Representatives just passed this "Cap and Trade" bill which is going to tax power companies, factories, and anyone else who emits carbon dioxide as a byproduct of doing their business. So... these companies are just going to voluntarily decrease their profit %?... no they are going to raise their price... and who will end up paying more? you and ME!!!!
News flash : carbon dioxide is not a pollutant.
You may ask why then? because the government simply needs MORE money to do MORE things to get MORE people enslaved to the government to keep them in power...
