i think the 15 will be cool, but the 11-14 GTs will have a, and i use this very loosely, "terminator" type mystic around them. last of the Muscle car mustangs.

So a lighter car with more power won't be as much of a "muscle car"?

LOL indeed.

IMO 05-09 was the last of the "muscley body", they will always have that "retro" type mystique around them.

And the 3v is way more “muscle” than the Coyote. The Coyote is too high tech and European.

I disagree.
So that would mean that all the 4v Cobras r European. I commend Ford for going high tech! That's y they're better than Chevy. They're still making pushrod motors! Is that how ppl want the future?... To be like the past 100 years? I don't. I like high revving, direct injection, quad-Cammed, small displacement motors with High HP and good Fuel Economy.
If y'all want huge cubic inch motors with standard fuel inj and gas gusler taxes go buy a Camaro. Lol. And leave me my futuristic, non-musclecar, 400+lb lighter, irs, direct injected, high-revving, high-hp, good gas mileage, euro-styled, luxury interior, exceptionately handling 2015 stang. Lol.

The formal definition:

"Muscle car is a term used to refer to a variety of high performance automobiles. The term refers to American 2-door rear wheel drive mid-size cars equipped with large, powerful, V8s, and sold at an affordable price for street use and auto racing, formally and informally."

Nowhere does it say that a "muscle" car must be boxy and look like something straight out of the 60's.

Next topic please.

I think your funny bone is broken. That was sarcasm.

I know you don't know me, but the people that do know (that's a lot of "knows"!!) that I'm the guy who wanted the 2015 Mustang to be "Aston Martin-ish" and have a Coyote that rev'd to 8,500-9,000rpm. That's a modern muscle car to me.

It doesn't... but when someone says muscle car, do you think smooth, low and aerodynamic with hard curves and flared fenders?
I bet my sweet ass you don't.
