Fords bringing back the new Fusion mixed with old Probe with rear wheel drive. Just kidding but i really hope they don't totally abandon the nostalgic look :).. We should be seeing the real thing for 15 pretty soon..

Im hearing a December reveal for the public. Rumor is that Ford already revealed it to select media personnel, and that embargo ends in Dec.

Another look at the active aero shutters behind the grille.

You can see how much wider the rear end will be based on the fuel door.

There will be a trim with a honeycomb grille.

The SVT model's nose dips down lower than the other trims giving it a more aerodynamic and aggressive looking front end. Also of note is the ride height. No 4x4 look here!

A look at the SVT model's two-piece drilled carbon ceramic brakes and 295/35/19 Michelin PSS front tires. I wish I could tell what the rears are, but from what I've seen they look square.

holy performance moly

Carbon brakes! Sold!

Indeed! I'd say this is in direct retaliation for the Z28. Thanks Chevy! Were finally getting some brakes and tires that are on par with the engine performance of these cars. Along with IRS, this thing is going to be an absolute monster. I'd still like to see more tire, but this could be a staggered setup too. 295 seems a little small to be going on an 11 inch wheel like you were suggesting Gmitch, but its at least a 10 and likely 10.5. Michelin lists the wheel size range for that tire at 10-11.5". Now imagine if this thing had a dry sump 5.2 litre voodoo engine making 550 NA HP with an 8000 rpm redline.
