My opinion is dont go into FI unless you can really afford the true cost of forced injection. That means the potential cost of a blown engine, tranny work, suspension work etc.... Its always way more than just the cost of the unit.

With that said, I love how my car felt after my jlt cai and brenspeed tune. Then the 4.10 gears, oh hell yeah!!! Now I am going with headers for my next step.

+1 I would do gears jlt etc. FI gets very expensive very quickly and it never ends lol

All go, no show. For $3500 and if you're staying N/A you can get LT headers w/ midpipe, udp's, cmdp's, nsr cams, d/s, suspension and you'll have a nice lil ride. That is if you can install it on your own.

well I dont think I need all that really. Just want to have fun on the street and keep it a daily driver for now. I dont go to the track anymore so I may run it once or twice but I will not be there every weekend.I want i to sound and look great with good performance. It already looks pretty damn good if I say so myself, lol. The stripes are a must. Flat black...........

Question is, are you doing the work yourself? $3500 will go a lot further if you do.
Stripes go with BSM, I've had mine for 5 years, look like new, or as good as when I installed them, LOL! I paid $120 for them, cheap.
Cold air, get a JLT and tune.
4.10 gears, might have a good gear guy install this so no whining, great seat of the pants mod.
NSR cams, I like the Hot Rods.
Kooks long tubes with catted H.
MGW shifter is great, I love mine. I had the Hurst and 5.0, and like the MGW the best.
And if you got some change left over, UDP's and CMDP.

It all depends on the labor, prices, used/new, good deals, etc.

For instance, I am sure that if I get 4:10's Im going to end up going centrifugal instead of twin screw, etc. Plus I couldnt do that work on my own. I am getting the stripes from BSM and trying the install on my own. Did you have a tough time and did it come out ok? I will be installing the cold air and shifter and stripes. Found a shop doing gears installed for 399 in GA. I wonder if the CMDP would be worth it in my case.

If you go centrifugal, the CMDP's will be worth it. If you go blower, don't get UDP's, you'll just have to swap them back out.

Stripes were fun and easy. I just installed two a day after work, worked on it all week. Best advice is to keep it wet, and don't do them in the wind. I got quotes for $700 installed, not worth it IMO. Hardest part is the bumpers, especially the front where it folds back under. Do that one last so you'll have some practice before tackling that one.

skip the stripes, there's too many mustangs with stripes
skip the louvers too, too many mustangs with louvers
in other words, spend it on go fast parts

Hmm, I think this should have been posted in the chit chat section. That being said, if you want fun on the street, suspension mods are the way to go in addition to a programmer and a CAI. The best advice I can give you is to sit down and really think about what your goals are for the car and then start doing the mods that support that goal.

+1..... Dont waste yoru money on other stuff if you say you will eventually go FI..... I wasted alot of money doing that.
