Good deal. You couldn't find the oil locally? I picked mine up at Advance Auto 2 blocks from my house.

Their website said they had some.. I drove up to advanced auto and they had 1 that was open/spilt everywhere.. Had to order it from a different store locally. I just have a lot to do for school thats due tomorrow so I couldn't be bothered to waste anymore time. I will swing by tomorrow after class to snatch it up.

Oh ok. Guess I misread. Lol. You will enjoy the manual... except for after you get stuck in stop and go traffic a few times. Lol. But naw, you will like it.

My advance auto always has plenty of pennzoil. I've been using it in mine and seem to work great.
Yeah, there were a few others around me within a 15-20 minute range I just had them ship to their store so I didn't have to waste more time.

Yeah, but it's different when it's your leg. Especially when that muscle isn't used to being used for the clutch pedal.

This is also true lol. On days I am too lazy I will drive the automatic 03 v6 stang I have.

Yesterday, I went to Advance Auto to pick up my Synchromesh bottles and all were open and some were spilt because the bottles were all oily and shit. I said I was not taking them and I got my $38.xx back.. Went up to ford and bought the damn oil. lol

Clutch kit and hydraulic throwout bearing/other stuff arrives tomorrow.

I ordered my VMP Tune and the last few things today.. I am aiming to tear down the mustang starting this weekend since I no longer need to wait for any parts. If all goes well, I will have only spent $1200 and thats with a lot of stuff brand new.

Thanks Cam, and no Pat- been busy with school.. Jacked up the car today, put it on stands and extra little support under the tires. Imma start pulling shit probably tomorrow. According to UPS the last bit of parts are going to be here tomorrow.

Make sure the car is high enough for the transmission to physically fit under it while on your transmission jack. If you don't have one then you can slide it in/out on a piece of cardboard or something and just manhandle it into place (you're young and strong).

Borrowing the trans jack from a fellow racer I used to talk with out at the races when I was young and dumb.. He said he should be done with it by Tuesday or Thursday. As for the trans fitting, I measured it and it should fit, it'll be close though.. Any tips?

Got my lazy ass around to starting a little bit of this..
Removed the interior crap and finally removed shifter. This thing was a pain in the ass b/c I couldn't get a small enough flat head to pop all the tabs at the same time and pull it out.

Got the last pieces of the puzzle in tonight, thanks to Steve at Tasca Ford Parts!!

Planning on starting Friday afternoon and spending a nice chunk of Saturday doing the same. I was going to spectate a relatively local Auto- X event in hopes to get a feel for it (getting ride alongs) but I'd much rather tackle my project.

Thanks dude, hopefully I take good pictures and I'll post up as much info as I can for you and others wanting to attempt this.. Yeah I didn't wanna pay ford $4,000 for another auto and have the problem again down the road.
