2011 5.0 645/510 .curious to see if anybody made this kind of power and ran there car to the drag strip I'm going Friday I have to pick my car up this week still at jpc any I'm hoping to go some kind of 10.50 or better if I can hook

Wow oh my car weighs 3700# with me

I was thinkin around 132-135 mph

My car was 4040 lbs with me in it. I did make those numbers on pump gas, 4R70W, and Mustang Dyno if that is any help. I would say around 135 mph would be about right but probably faster.

My car made 600 and i ran 10.58 @ 130.90 with the car short shifting.

Do you have a manual or auto? What gear and tire?

At 604 rwhp @3450lbs, 28 tall tire with 4.10s, best mph was 134 mph.. I think at 650rwhp, with the right tire and gearing, you should hit 135 or so.

Way too many variables...like others have said, gearing, tires, atmospheric conditions, stick/automatic...how much experience do you have racing? How much stick time in this car with the new power? What track and how well is it prepp'd?

+1 at that horse power level the stamped LCA's are going to flex. You have stick and it will hit the tires hard.

Well the DA this time of year at ATCO is truly "mineshaft" air. That combined with a good tire, you should be in the 10.00s area, and if you can shift very well, 135+ mph is good for high 9s.

So will the stock controll arms break with that kind of power or will it cause the car to wheel hop to the track.I had steeda lca before then I broke bushungs twice so I was just gonna run the car with stock control arms

The stock LCAs won't break, but they will flex like wet spaghetti noodles. I'd consider a rod-end LCA instead of poly bushings. I blew out a poly bushing on an aftermarket LCA and replaced them with rod-ends instead. Now my car stays firmly planted on launch and I don't have to worry about blowing out another bushing.
