Finally took the motor apart and as suspected, spun bearing. Damn thing got so hot that it melted the bearing and discolored the cap. All the chunks on the table came from the pick-up tube. Some nice chunks in the oil pan as well. An interesting thing we noticed was the contact the piston made on the head, you can see the markings. Thankfully the head is O.K.
Another interesting thing we noticed is the Livernois block does not have studs for the windage tray. Guess they concluded it's not really necessary, although I sent them an email about it. Anyway, on with the pics....
