I bought the DL1 on ebay...used....for $401. I was a little nervous, but it works fine. I got the OBD cable for it through SPS.
I can't say what will be available with the obd cable on the aim system. Just looking at track maps, speed gradients, and lap overlays along with lat and long acceleration numbers will keep you busy for HOURS. It's a lot to take in.
***It occurs to me that you may think we are talking about the same thing. I am running the Race technology DL1, not the AIM Solo.***
ahh that clears things up. I understand the boatload of time that can be spent compiling data and merging with videos or diagrams. AIM has their own data analysis software that can be used. I think it's merging the data with video that will take time.
Here's a list of channels that the AIM Solo DL can receive from a Mustang (any copperhead?) ecu.
